    If you really believe this I feel sorry for you.

    The changes make sense and it makes leveling passed 30 more fun now.

    Your second argument being "everyone gets the same things", well, GEAR is what we farm for. GEAR is the #1 driving force behind everything in the Diablo world.

    Runes are just there to diversify builds and add customization. To that effect, this change works out much better and I've been waiting for this to happen.
    yeah gear is #1, the only thing. have you ever PVPd in WOW? the factors that make you unique and strong are talents, gear, enchants, gems, and much more. the more things that make you unique the better. diablo3 has given everything to you, only thing now is gear? thats it? so i can go on the AH and buy legendary items and be super pro now cause i have the best stuff. having different leveled runes kind of made you want to MF in inferno for better runes than someone who isnt good enough for inferno and only gets lvl 4-5 runes in hell.

    its in beta, its a weird system so far. maybe it will get better with time. im playing beta now and its something different thats for sure, i just wanted to find different levels of rune to make me superior to someone else. if my char is beefed and im farming inferno and leet runes dropped there, putting those on my skills would make me stronger, instead of automatically getting all the runes and being autopro. ive already had several friends agree with me so im not the only one. we'll see how this works i guess.
    TO EACH THEIR OWN. maybe it'll change again, who knows.

    Magic find doesn't nor ever did help with finding runes. MF has nothing to do with finding runes. And I rather doubt it would have had an impact on finding them in Diablo III either.

    Secondly, they changed absolutely nothing about skills other than the UI, which most people reacted very negatively to, so I can see them changing it, or at least having the old UI for people that use Elective Mode.

    Third, the changes to the runes (other than one thing that I'll detail in a second) were ultimately very necessary. Runes in Diablo II could be mixed with one another and hopefully, eventually, popped into an item to be made useful. In Diablo III you could put, at most, one in at a time, and supposedly they never got deleted. So you could potentially have 150 runes (30 skills X 5 runes) sitting around, PER CHARACTER, not to mention rune quality level.

    I'm not overly excited that I won't have to find them any more, but it's not like they're robbing of us gameplay.

    Finally, if you want to mention an actual problem with the new rune system, then say this: As is, the different runes are now available at spread out level checkpoints, but you don't get to pick that order. For instance, the rune I wanted to use for cleave isn't available until level 38... meaning I won't get to use it until like halfway through nightmare, where before I could have concievably found it a rune pretty early in normal. To me, that's the only big downside of this new system.
    i played diablo 2 since the day it came out and im still playing, im saying the thrill of finding new items and things to customize your character is fun. having runes given to you already seems too easy. i guess its less to worry about but whats next? the vendors will sell legendary items for gold? so we can all be the same. pro.

    Clearly you don't understand the changes. Everyone unlocks the same runes at the same levels PERIOD.

    Every barb at level 30 will have the exact same skill and rune choices to pick from.
    im saying everyone gets the same thing. everyone picks from the same thing. everyone will be pro. i would rather people find runes that are different level so that you need to farm inferno for high lvl runes instead of BOOM lvl 30 i get max level rune woot

I'd rather be able to play the way I want with the skills and skill runes I want than have to go out into the world and grind for a single rune for hours and hours on end only to find every other rune in existence several times before finding mine.     k i guess u like basic games then. my guild all agrees that Mfing for runes/jewels/ charms in diablo2 was fun as shit, so just because u hated it doesnt mean everyone does.

    How is making the runes unlockable and not a drop dumbing the game down?
    There is enough crap to collect in the game in the form of gears, gems, recipes etc...
    the more shit that has a chance to drop is more unique. what if someone never explores or MF's and wants to PVP, he has shitty runes still, good for him maybe if he loses he will want to explore more and get better runes to get stronger. i dunno im not the only one who is pissed

    i understand completely, im playing beta right now. im just saying they are taking more from us. im pretty sure once games out like every PVP game ever made theres gonna be cookie cutters. and giving us all the runes is stupid, what if ive been MFING for runes and gear for a long ass time and i have max level runed skills, and some noob still has lvl 1-2 runes. thats his fault lol

    i hope this isnt true... Rune drops with different levels sounding amazing and gave you a reason to MF during inferno and other levels. why take them out...? diablo2 was fun as shit because you get to customize your gear with jewels/Runes, it made you want to play the game more and more and more untill you found the best runes/jewels.i hope this is false.
