I really love my wife, she is comical even when she doesn't try. She discovered Skyrim about 2 months ago. Mind you she is awful at first and even 3rd person shooter games. She was killed by a level 1 mud crab, she also contracted vampirism once and didn't know it until she went out into the daylight and nearly burned to death. All she wants in the game is to be left alone while she gets a house (now you know why I need to get our real house closed on soon LOL), fixes it up, and finds treasure. She's always encumbered and can never run away from the creatures she encounters and doesn't understand why she always dies. You might think I should help her, oh I have but she still will do things her way regardless.
Visual proof
So I catch her chopping wood for the last 2 weeks straight, every time I come out to the room she plays in, I see her chopping wood. I ask her what she is doing? She replies "do you realize how much gold I get when I chop wood?!" So that has become her strategy as of late. Then for the last 2 days I have caught her chopping wood at night. So I ask why are you chopping wood at night now? She replies "because no one bothers me at night, I'm tired of being approached by all these people who are bothering me while I chop wood" ROLMAO!
I've offered to put her in god mode but she feels that would be cheating, but she won't leave town because she doesn't want to die either and she hates perishing all the time. So she chops wood and does things around town which she is quite happy doing. I can't help but love her when she does stuff like this.

- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 4 eggs
- 1 (18.25 ounce) package butter cake mix
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 4 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1/3 cup heavy cream
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9 inch round cake pans.
- Combine 1/2 cup peanut butter and 1/2 cup butter or margarine. Cream until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at time, mixing well after each one. Add cake mix alternately with the water. Stir until just combined. Pour batter into prepared pans.
- Bake at 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) for 25 minutes or until cake tests done. Allow cakes to cool in pan for 10 minutes and then turn out onto a cooling rack to cool completely. Assemble and frost with Peanut Butter Frosting once cool.

Typical butthurt ignorant PvM player. Adds absolutely nothing to the conversation beyond his tears.Quote from Mostrup
Gosh, why are all PvP'ers feeling so buttfucked atm? Stop whining for god sake! You don't know what plans Blizzard has with the PvP, yet you already cry like babies. WAIT TILL THE FUCKING PVP PATCH IS RELEASED - then you can start whatever it is you're doing.
I see myself as a PvM myself, HOWEVER I will of course play a whole bunch of PvP aswell. Just wanted to make that clear.
I can't stop comparing PvP'ers to MW3 players with all of this whining, over and over. If you don't like the game, simply don't buy it. Go back to WoW, or develop your own fucking game.
Cheers lads.
Also everything we are asking for we had in Diablo 2, not WoW. Just proves how ignorant you kids are. Funny too, this is a great example of why hostile button and PK were perfect for Diablo, it was a great way to shut little kids like you guys up. When you are all safe and protected by daddy Blizzard you guys get big mouths, as soon as that goes away you guys curl up in a ball and piss yourselves.
I think you nailed pretty much everything we really want Omega. If we want ranks and ladders we will make them ourselves like in Diablo 2. -

snared04drummer posted a message on Who said PC gaming was dead?Seriously, giving pirating as an excuse for "PC gaming dying" is the stupidest argument ever. Period. You can easily pirate console games, and even find advertisements on craigslist for people that will hack your system for a nominal fee. Believing that media horseshit about pirating killing PC games is totally unbased, and ignorant.Posted in: General Discussion (non-Diablo)
Secondly, digital sales through mediums like Steam, Origin, and Impulse have skyrocketed sales for PC game companies across the border. Terraria, a small-time independent game, sold SOOOOOO many copies in such a very short time, and has been on the Steam top 10 sales list for literally months.
So quit quoting stupid jargon, it's really tired, old, and asinine in the first place. -

johnnysd posted a message on Beta: I just do not get this game at allHi all,Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Got in the beta last week. Went to 2 Blizcons just to play Diablo III and really enjoyed them at the show.
I will post more specific and in-depth thoughts later after work, but I just wanted to give a quick overall feel for the game I have so far.
Unfortunately, I do not get how Blizzard can completely ignore 10 years of history with Diablo II, a game that to this day still sells for almost full retail and produce the game that they have.
Diablo III is not a Diablo game in my opinion. Basically all RPG elements have been completely removed. Stats auto level, all skills open to the player and level automatically. You have to go to a completely ridiculous "shrine" to swap out skills. From what I can see, the only RPG element left is a choice of 3 total passive skills you get over the complete lifespan of you character.
It is a pure action game now with some RPG-lite features. The re-playability of Diablo II and it's long term success was built around the RPG elements not the gameplay (certainly addictive) or the items. Choice mattered in Diablo II. For every choice you made you gave something up. Each character you played was ultimately unique, even if eventually there were so called "cookie-cuter" specs. You were a Furyzon, not a Bowazon and could never be. If you decided that you wanted a bow wielder you made one, and the roguelike features made it FUN to develop a new character. The horrible skill system that has basically infinite respecs kills that. On a non-hardcore setting you will only play one of each character ever. There is no replayability. Blizzard seems so concerned that the game will be even a little complex and people might make a mistake (they should be able to, and in fact is the attraction of the game) that they have basically eliminated any choice or any interesting character development elements of the game. They have ignored the fact that the underlying complexity of Diablo II IS WHAT MADE IT SUCCESSFULL. It's like the chess saying, a minute to learn a lifetime to master.
I know why they have done what they have done - probably some focus groups or surveys that suggest that they will sell more copies as a pure action game than as a RPG. And it will sell a bazillion copies so they will point to its success as the validation of this change but that is facile. Diablo III will not have the longevity of Diablo II now way.
Even worse than that though is that the game mechanics have been changed a lot too from the betas and the actual gameplay itself is not as fun. It was actually a much better game as an alpha than it is now. I am a huge Diablo fan and with the beta installed on my PC I basically have no interest in playing. I will so I can give Blizzard reasoned critisisms but I know that they will ignore them as blue themselves have created this adversarial relationship where they call the Diablo II players "hardcore" and diminish their opinions. -

I'm glad you asked!
Gone are the days of the simpletons 1-10 rating system. The more sophisticated gents use a -5 to +5 bell curve rating scale.
We all know the generic system. "What's that girl out of 10?" "Yeah she's a 8 bro". There are heavy flaws in this system. Everyone is rating girls on a different curve. Some people rate a 6 as attractive, some only rate 7's and above as attractive. This is an important issue that needs to be standardised.
A basic background to the new system:
A few months ago, a friend of mine working in a terrible retail job to pay his way through Uni, was asked by a fellow colleague what he rated their manager out of 10. This woman is the closest thing he has ever seen to a troll, and that is not an exaggeration. Short, fat, moustache, bumfluff, disgusting face, the lot. Scoffed down mountains of greasy food every break she got. He, personally, did not feel comfortable giving this lady a positive score, or a score on a scale of attractivity.
So we decided that - If there is a scale of attractivity, there needs to be a scale of "de"tractivity.
The -5 to +5 system is born:
Now I know what you're thinking. You're saying "Hey, that's the same rating curve, you've just moved it from 0-10 to -5-+5". Wrong, it's called a bell curve.
Now the first thing you need to learn is that a 0 is a girl who you find completely neutral. You are not attracted to her, you are not detracted to her.
The -0.1 to -5 side of the side of the scale is how detracted you are to someone. Basic bell curve rules apply. I'd rate my manager a negative 5 as she is easily in the worst 0.5% of the population.
It is a vice versa for the attracted scale.
The F Clause:
For scores free of bias the rater should not have had any conversation with the ratee. If you want to rate your girlfriend, get out of here. Find a neutral with an unbiased opinion.
Here is a nifty graph for a visual representation
