I really like the sound of this system and I can't wait to try it out, on paper it sounds like a huge improvement. It's also going to be really nice having something to unlock every level, there's nothing worse than when your character just stops gaining abilities, it makes levelling feel a lot less worthwhile. Now I just need to find myself a beta key. *wink wink*
I think ten is plenty, one of each character for both softcore and hardcore, or male and female of each character. I doubt I'll ever use the 10 slots as I won't be playing hardcore and don't need one of each gender. They will most likely up the limit when the first expansion hits, but obviously that won't be very for a long time.
You really don't need a 850w power supply noted above for one GPU. Never even close. If going for SLI / Crossfire sure.
But as far as Im concerned single GPU still scales better and saves money, temperature and space.
It's more about future proofing really, it's nice to have some wiggle room in case you want to add a second card later on, and for £30 extra why not? I'm not a massive fan of SLI/CF, but a lot of people are.
Its questionable if you would even save money using that power supply later down the road, and even then it would be quite old and worn out.
Old and worn out? Corsair PSUs are built to last, that PSU would last for many years to come.
To be fair, D3DB has the worst contest, it's so bad their site is down most of the time because people are constantly refreshing the page. The best contest was Blizzplanet for sure, all you had to do was make a post in a dedicated thread and that's it, everyone has the same chance of winning and you have a week to post which means no spamming, no constantly hitting F5 and no jumping through hoops.
I very rarely check Facebook or Twitter so I'm not even trying to win a key from there, there's people that literally live on those sites and they will get the keys any way, so it's not worth the effort. The best chance to get a key from Diablo Fans is probably the next contest that hasn't started yet as it will be completely random (thus fair for everyone).
I'd like to see a big, bulky Paladin dripping in gold armour that deals massive holy damage that can also hang in mele and take a beating. It would be nice to have something similar to the "Shockadin" spec that was popular in WoW a few years ago (not sure if it still is, I haven't played in years). It would also be nice to have another pure mele class, something like a Rogue, where you have to get in and get out but you do massive damage if left alone.
I think gold find will be much better early on at least, the first thing you want to get done is level the blacksmith as it seems the stuff you can make is always better than what you can find from mobs, at least that's how it seems from what we've seen in the beta. Personally I will be going with more gold find for sure. If you watched the "You will die" video they said they were spending a lot of gold on repairs, so that's also something you need to think about.
Well I don't have any games to play right now so I'm basically catching up with some TV and films. I started watching Everybody Loves Raymond from season one and I'm enjoying that a lot.

Try and break it up a little.
