Witchdoctor, as soon as I saw the first footage with the wall of zombies I had to play him. I watched some of Force's footage and it just made me want to play him ever more. Other than that the barb looks god damn awesome.
Standing in town in D1 just to listen to the awesome music.
Getting D2 on the day of release and playing with 2 friends only to find that the game is quite bugged in multiplayer. We finished act 1 and saw our ass in the beginning of act 2. As soon as you leave the town you get one shotted by monsters. Turns out we were too low a level for act 2. God only knows how that happened seeing as how we did finish act 1.
Good times, pitty so few of my friends still game.

Indeed, thats the major problem. Their open door policy is also in huge flaw. And I think Fanbase are not mad at Blizzard, they are just tired of waiting... Blizz might change their mind in the close future about announcing games in development only 1-2 years prior to release. Less hype, but less angry people on their forums.
To be honest, hype is a TM of Blizzard. SC2 is HUUUUUGE due to the hype, and of course SC1. I don't see them changing that policy. The problem in my opinion is giving a rough deadline and not sticking to it. The new "deadline" looks to be in danger and that is pissing off a lot of fans. As I said before I can still see an "early" 2012 release. Give them a chance. I must admit I sound like a real fanboy, I assure you I'm just as worried about D3 as the next person. All I'm saying is trust in Blizzard, they're an industry leader for a reason.
This is about money, it's got nothing to do with making a good game.
I'm sure the RMAH is still meeting resistance in various countries.

So you CAN prove that RMAH has been approved globally and that the paypal functionality is working 100%? I mean i'm not 100% certain, but i'd love to see some proof beyond "a blue said so." Setting up a feature like this globally is a HUGE undertaking and it is what investors care about. This isn't conspiracy stuff, its simple economics.
The only other option is that the devs on this game are not very good at their job. You don't typically see companies give a definitive release window, only to change major feautres AFTER that window has come and gone...
But i'm crazy i guess. Anyways, link me to the info on these features being approved globally in countries that probably all have dramatically diverse legislation on such potential "gambling" issues.
As far as the 100% surety goes, I can speak for my country and say that not even Paypal is 100% approved. Due to tax reasons only one bank supports Paypal fully and even for that to work you have to give a valid reason for the withdrawal(from a drop down menu) and have a certain type of bank account.
As for my opinion, I can still see an "early" 2012 release. Simplicity is the mark of a great engineer. If that means overhauling the whole system(not that they have), so be it. Having a simple UI does not mean having a stupid game. The amount of pressure on the lead must be HUGE, give them a chance and I can guarantee you that they won't let you down.
