posted a message on Diablofans, what is your profession?!
I cook people's own food for them and they give me money. I guess some people call that a personal chef, I call it awesome.

No I have no delusions about making any sort of real income from the game. I'm planning on just treating real cash like SoJs used to be in D2, I'll use the money I can make from stuff I don't need to trade for other items that I am interested in.

    Quote from Rym

Diablo is not a game where a DPS meter would help. Its play style is different from MMOs like WoW or Rift for example.

Agreed with this. There's so much more to Diablo than just how much damage you can pump out.. mitigation, group support and mobility, healing, etc are all vastly more important IMO. I do hope they have a counter for total demons destroyed though, I was always curious in D1/D2 how many monsters I'd slaughtered over the years on my highest level characters.

I'm planning on Monk first for sure, I love melee classes in every game I've ever played but the ability to be strong support is huge for me also, as I'm planning on rolling with 2-3 friends a lot of the time.

Barbarian will probably be my second, as I am a melee addict...I'll also probably build my Barb to be more solo-oriented so I can level him while my friends are offline or whatever.

That said.. Witch Doctor looks pretty awesome too, and a beast for soloing...gonna be a tough choice

I said mixed/DD for my solo build, going for strong AoE potential to tear it up in PvM, with the ability to heal myself and allies for good endurance and survivability. Crippling Wave and Dash are there for getting away from sticky situations. Biggest sacrifice was having to ignore +dodge skills, I'm hoping the high damage and heals can make up for it though. I'm sure my build will totally change based on what classes/builds my 2 friends end up picking though, good synergy is key!
