I haven't been turned off by the spells, on the contrary, I really like the wd's spells. On the other hand I don't like the wd as a character. Scrawny, hunchbacked mystic with Parkinson's. I'm not an RPer, but I really like to put myself in the character's shoes. I loved the necro in D2, it was pretty much the only class I ever played, but wd...god no.
The Burning(?) Constructs in Act2 are definitively borked. They do far more damage than their counterparts, and an elite one is basically a 5-affix pain in the ass. NERF PLZ!
I take pride in never avoiding those fuckers. And I swear, as a monk with only 729 res all, I do fine. I've actually encountered such a pat yesterday that had jailer, vortex, arcane, desecrator. I never die more than once to them, and that's with 30k dps.
The "father of the game" wanted to make it claymation. Diablo wouldn't be a national past time if Blizzard didn't say "screw claymation".

Agree with the moderator that claims need to be verified before jumping the gun, but several game media sites are running this gossip as breaking news, people who saw it unfold like a few angry people in this thread and myself, can verify it was a legit post. Much like the 10 bow AH hack a few weeks back, it sounds like a myth but those of you online when it happened, know it happened.

You'd better care. When the current game creator tells the father of the game to go fuck himself, it's pretty bad. It's pretty bad because you know he'll disregard anything good people have to say about D2. Now you know why D3 is nothing like D2. I'm not saying it's the worst game (I'm still playing it) but it could've been oh so much better.
So, after getting bored with my dh I decided to level up a monk, which I must say is pretty fun. However, I seem to not be able to go past act II. I definitely could, if I avoided some affixes and finishing one quest in like an hour, but that's not the way I wanna play. I wanna farm stuff like I do Act I, which is complete faceroll. I wanna save up some gold and buy 2 nice LOH weapons, but I'm not sure that's the only problem. So here's my gear and spec, any help will be most appreciated:

I've seen you post in multiple threads and when you encounter random people disliking some aspects or diablo 3 overall, you quickly pursue their enlightenment, as if trolling or actually being upset about something requires your divine hammer of justice and knowledge. The story was not bad per-se, just some aspects of it. So many goddamn cliches and the absolute stupidity some characters displayed, killed a lot of the story for me. I remember the first time I killed Diablo in D2. Enter chaos sanctuary, press seals and bam..."Not even death can save you from me!". No fucking portrait taunting me with cheesy lines like "YOU WILL NEVAH DEFEAT MEHHHHH!!!" (sk, but you get the point).
U can survive monsters in inferno act1 now....WOW...will back to this thread in a few hours, when u hit act 2 and tell us how u hate this game again.

There was no major cockblock whatsoever, no affix combination that I couldn't kill (invulnerable minions can still be a bitch for a dh, though). I've got 38k life, low resists - granted and around 40k dps. Enter act II - owned by lacuni whatever. 1 shot. Also, champion packs are out of the question.
