Hey all, just a quick topic I'd love to get some feedback on, witch is that im having trouble deciding between more DPS or more EHP on my upgrades. Im already near 200k DPS (40%CC 645%CD) and i have around 715 Resist All. Currently I have this dilemma with a set of gloves. The trade off would be -1400DPS and -1400HP for 59 RA, thats like +9k EHP. Losing that much DPS and HP isnt a big deal in the grand scheme, but is adding that EHP a big deal either? Should all my upgrades be DPS/HP focused? Is EHP/RA a waste of my time and gold? Anybody else dealing with this?

Ya, that socket quest was a real burden. If anything it adds some odd form of replay value compared to other artificial timesinks and the reward would actually be useful, could turn a bad drop into an upgrade. And it doesnt have to be buried in a later Act to be used once a difficulty, it could be a repeatable grind ala key farming. Come on Blizz, Yeesh!

Good tune. Smooth play. I tried doing the Barrage thing, they just move too slow for me. They hit like a truck though.

A socketed version of your weapon with an Emerald would help. You might also consider trying a +Int Skorn, they always have a ton of Crit Dmg and a Socket. Life steal would be the optimal stat to look for on the Skorn as that will give big returns with bears, but they will be pricey.

Edit: Keep in mind you would need a pair of Zuni boots to keep the Mana bonus if you went 2h.

Good vid. You hit the nail on the head with the comment about them being useless if dead. That said, I never focus on damage for my followers, i just try and HP them out to near or over the 100k HP mark. I use the same Weps on my Enchantress as in the vid, but focusing on +Vit. as much as possible. As far as the rest goes, I use a lesser rolled Hellfire Ring for the +XP and Fireball Proc and two other +Vit Legendaries that have procs and she very rarely dies.

Grab a cheap (5-15m) Sun Keeper, Gidbinn or Sky Splitter (First 2 are nice for the MF) with at least 900 DPS, a socket and/or Crit Dmg. Then grab a cheap Endless Path set - Make sure the neck has at least as much crit as you have now, but shoot for 7% or more, and try for Crit DMG with Avg Dmg or a Socket on the Compass Rose ring. The speed and the set bonuses are very nice and the set can be had cheap, like 10m for both if you camp the AH for a bit. If budget allows get any cheap Zuni chest and ring, get the highest int/vit you can afford and save a mil and a half for 3 star topaz for the Zuni chest. Your passives are good to go, its the best IMHO (sometimes i go more mana regen for lower MP so i can zip through it faster) but what you have now works for me all the way to about MP7. Just FYI i use bears for my main attack in MP5-7 and Acid Cloud for MP 0-4.

I love all the items i have and i pretty much just grind and save up for better versions. Once i max MF out with Paragon, ill drop the wep , neck and ring. Theres also the whole Hellfire ring thing too, if you get a good one, you probably want to work it in. Also a tip about your follower: Get a bunch of cheap VIT and %Life items and get them close to 100k HP, forget DMG stats, there not worth it on a follow, just buff them with VIT so they stay up and active to assist you. If you can afford to get a new maximus, get a high VIT/LoH one or high Vit and Socket for a Purple gem.

Shameful. Double shame for waiting till AFTER XMAS to break the news you already knew. Just another attempt to milk it, cant say I blame them, but i can blame the people that will drop the game forever after this either.

For the same reason I picked Necromancer in D2, or Warlock in WoW, it just resonates more with me.

No matter what the game, i'll always play the "darker" or more defensive/CC style caster.

Im also a fan of Death Over Time or "Poisoning" style attacks and pets/companions.

That said, level 11 is likely just to early to judge, running around Darting and dropping Grasp of the Dead is boring, give it time.

I hope the XP scales too! Woo hoo!

The pitch looks solid and with 4 days to go, they are very close to their goal.
