My season and non-season DH were the easiest ones to gear. I second uraniborg's experience of Roland's set diluting my drops a LOT. Every class except DH, though has been similarly difficult to gear as the crusader.
WD - I was stuck running a T4-T5 pet build until my Furnace dropped
Monk - Sunwoko's had several pieces that didn't want to drop or drop well, like the ammy

That's why I had 8 as the example. i was already subtracting from 15. Without knowing the specific cutoff point, we can't know the factor of the GR level. Two variables. Need to control for one or the other.
what massive increase in legendary drop rates ? wasnt that a ptr only thing to test out ancient items ?
In vanilla D3, you had to sell your firstborn to get an item with decent stats. Comparitively, legendaries now rain from the sky. I'm pretty sure they are referring to the Loot 2.0 patch changes.
The GR level you are in has an impact on the GR level you will gain, confirmed by :
7:00 @ GR30 -> GR34 (+4)
7:06 @ GR31 -> GR35 (+3)
6 secondes less to complete the GR, but 1 level less on the key. The only difference is the GR level I was doing, all other parameters were the same (solo games, same toon, etc.).
Now, finding a formula with our data is another challenge...
That's not necessarily confirmed yet. The cutoff may be 7:00-7:01.

I was aiming for the MoE pants, IK helm, Lut Socks, but...they haven't dropped yet.
I also have a mediocre Maximus and I've played with fire. Without the Lut Socks, not sure if it's the same. TnT would mean needing to stay with set boots, but if they actually drop, I can give it a try.
So far, however, it just feels like something is missing.
I started D3V with a barb since there was no paladin, which I played in D2. Spent a lot of hours on him back then. Came back when they removed the AH and played a sader. Took another break. Since returning late in the season, I've played around with most of the classes, but just can't get into the barb. He's had no gear and I think that's part of the problem. Not trying for high GRifts, what's a fun T6 farm build? Raekor doesn't really look fun and is changing soon. Is leapquake fun or more of a try it for laughs temporary thing? Trying to see what gear I want to chase.
Yeah, I know what you mean. I found a Kridershot finally. It's fun to play around with now having infinite hatred, but Etrayu is just better, currently. Excited to see Krider after the patch. I have a Calamity too. In groups it can be good, but I guess Helltrapper is still better. Seems odd having the rarest ones be fun but not quite as good as rare, but less rare other weapons.
They'll release the 2.1.2 patch before ending season 1. It was talked about in one Play your way -stream before christmas.
You may be right, but I'd like to watch the vid to confirm. My understanding was they said that season 2 and the patch were not releasing at the same time, which is not the same thing. There may be a delay in starting season 2.
End season 1 -> Release patch -> 5 days later start season 2
At least, that's what I've read. It makes sense not to release mechanics changes at the tail end of a season. The pylon and density changes, not to mention Raekor and M6 changes, could wreak havoc on the leaderboards at "the last second" so to speak.
