posted a message on One high or multiple lows?
With the whole PG level thing announced, which do you think is better:
Level one hero as high as you can, or
    Level multiple heroes consistently.

    For example:
My Barb is 24, my WD is 20, and then my Monk and DH are 14. Should it level my Barb as high as I can get, or focus on bringing my DH, WD and Monk up to 24?

If I'm not making sense, I'm sorry. I'm brain dead from work/kids.

My "Saving Private Ryan Spec". It's simple: Max IAS + Splinters. I fucking love it.

Pretty sure at this point in the game 99% of players (yes a made up statistic) have at least 10million or more gold.

I must be in the 1% then :-(

posted a message on Starting A HC WD...tips, advice, pointers appreciated.
I'm going to start dipping into the world of HC, and preferrably self-found (only selling things in the AH to make money for crafting...no buying from AH or vendors). Of all 5 classes, I am most familliar with the WD (day one) the most, so I was curious to see who might have some tips, advice and/or pointers specific to the WD. I already read the massive D3 Forum post, so I'm looking for more insight into the WD. Leveling to 60 is my first priority, so any help is appreciated.

Sacrifice/For The Master gives you 6202 life back per dog you blow up.

Summon Zombie Dogs/Leeching Beasts heals 50% of the damage done they do as life divided between you and the other dogs.

Dumb, but interesting question: Will I get additional life back per dog I blow up, becasue they technically dealt damage (the dogs just don't get any of the life back becasue they blew up).

I'm at work, can someone test this? Thanks.

posted a message on Comprehensive IAS List?
Does anyone have, or know where I can find, a list of items that have the IAS affix and what their values are? For example, I know all rings can roll the affix, but how high can it go? Another example is that bracers normally don't have the affix, but the Lacuni's do. All items, not just level 60 gear. Any help would be appreciated.

posted a message on IAS on Splinters - When is enough, enough !?
I'm REALLTY having fun right now using Splinters with IAS. I think I'm at 2.23 AS right now, and when used in conjunction with various snares, fears, and CC's, I'm totally having fun (especially with multiplayer). I do have 2 questions though:

1.) When is IAS no longer worth stacking for Splinters? I mean, due to the abilites animation and mechanics, does there come a time where, say an AS of (insert number here) is enough? I swear to god I shoot them so fast it's like a stream; it's fucking halarious.

2.) Are there any pieces of gear that either knockback or stun? I was thinking about stacking these affixes as well to see how they work.

FYI, if you look at my spec, take note that I replaced the BRit passive with BMed (didn't update) and I switched to the enchantress. Otherwise he's tits. Also, an ability like Splinters with IAS works great with the FetishPsy passive: I usually have at least 3-6 active at any given time (it's mor like 11.3% chance per second becasue of the IAS).

    Thanks in advance. Theorycraft welcome.

posted a message on In-game tooltip sucks!
    Quote from gamerky
    Dear Blizzard,

Blizz will not see this post. This is DiabloFans.com

    Quote from gamerky
Please update your in-game tooltip to better aid players in trying out different builds. The tooltip isn't good enough for us to determine that the abilities is good enough for what we want to do.

Who is this "us"? I understand them just fine.

    Quote from gamerky
For example, the monk Fist of Thunder "...deals 110% weapon damage and every third hits deal damage to all enemies in front of you...". It's missing some detailed like heals from the hit if I have "Life on Hit" and "Life Steal".

Um...in this example, wouldn't all tooltips read that? That's a bit overkill to say the least.

    Quote from gamerky
For simple math, let's say I have a base weapon damage of 100-200 with all the offensive stats combined. For heals, I have 1% Life Steal and 10 Life on Hit. The useful tooltip will read "...deals 110-220 weapon damage...Each hit heals you for 11-13 life...". Is that so hard? Could be if your tooltip system is static.

Wait...I think I know where you're getting this idea from...

    Quote from gamerky
Can we get test dummies with stats collection tool for damage, heals, damage taken, and most damage done?

    ...yup, World Of Warcraft.

    Quote from gamerky
I feel much better now. There's a good chance I won't buy the expansion if the in-game help doesn't provide useful information for casual players like myself to be efficient at the game without have to search blogs and forums.

Er...wouldn't static tooltips help casual players, who don't have time to sit and number crunch? Sounds to me like another Wrath-Baby wanting WoW pused into his Diablo 3.
