OMG! About one week into my new alt., the Witch Doctor (had him at level 70 for long, but haven't been play him), this beauty dropped this weekend - Starmetal Kukri:

I also managed to get the 3 last pieces to complete the jade set, 3 (!) Quetzalcoatl, Hexing Pants of Mr Yan (great stats) and one Mask of Jeram (upgrade) drop. Tonight I also got a better Rhen'Ho Flayer... Thank you RNGesus!

You can not farm specific items in specific areas like that. Play the game and gamble, that's all you can do.

Thanks guys! Funny thing. First leg that dropped yesterday when I started rifting - a pair of Akkhan shoulders! Not better than the ones I have though. As a new player of the 6-p Akkhan I tried playing without CDR on the shoulders to try different builds. My god it was awful! Now I do realize the importance of CDR! I liked Shotgun better and rerolled % life to CDR. Thanks for all your help guys! Cheers!

Arguably 20% Holy dmg will be better thant the 10% dmg increase from your Hellskull. This will allow you to go for Str/Vit/CC/CdR thus improving your dmg and survivabilty.


Edit: So I would reroll the Life% for CDR and seek Vitality roll on some of your other gear. Probably going for Akhan gloves will be good as well so that you can drop the RRoG and get something better with CDR.

Thank you for your advice! Unfortunately non-Crusader shields can't roll CDR. And yes. Next up is finding the gloves. 

My helmet doesn't have vitality for an example...

It would be nice to roll off All Res for CDR. Personally, I'd roll All Res into Vit as seeing you have 377k hp. Need a higher hp pool to soak the damage in higher torment and make better use of the passives.

That is actually an excellent idea! At first I didn't think that, but now when I've been thinking about it... More life = more healing. And extra holy damage from + HF skill is even more healing i figure? AR --> CDR is what I'm leaning towards. Also, I could just change a gem in my pants to get extra AR if needed. I'll just get another pair of shoulders for other builds. Thank you jameslimah!

Easy: Craft a pair of Reaper's Wraps with + elemental damage, STR, VIT & Crit damage. You may also try changing the rune of AC to Embodiment of Power. Problem solved.

Also, I think playing Shotgun is a matter of technique. Always try to hit the mobs with all three beems. Don't waist it on a single trashmob and so on. I play Shotgun to since yesterday and have a lot to learn.

Regarding CDR: You need it on both rings to get to perma-AC. I'd reroll the RoRG.

I just put together a Holy Shotgun in a haste with the gear I have. I haven't decided yet what build to play. One thing is for sure - I will try different ones; Lord Commander, Holy Shotgun and Firestarter at first.

I'd like some advice on how to reroll my shoulders. I need CDR. Keep Heaven's Fury damage and roll % life to CDR and try to make up the loss of vit elsewhere? Reroll HF damage to CDR? Other option? I think I'll need the AR. I'm really thorn abou this.

RNGesus is so unfair. Today I read about this person who found a Wand of Woh. Seems like a total noob and was about to salvage it, then he asked at a forum which items to keep. The person doesn't even understand what he/she has found nor how to use it.
