posted a message on ROS and PTR Closing Tonight
Patch 2.01 adds a great deal.

Beta testers might feel that loot 2.0 is missing without the Mystic or Campaign is no longer enough without Adventure Mode ,Bouties and Rifts but patch 2.01 is much better than current Vanilla.

Paragon leveling feels great now , you gain experience much faster , it lets you customize for a small degree your character depending on your build and gear , loot 2.0 offers alot of variety in playstyles when you start finding those build changing legendaries and set items.
Also knowing that whatever you find in loot 2.0 can still have some value when RoS launches and not just some item with 0 value as soon as you reach level 65.

Classes get good balance and it revives many new builds even without the special affixes.

It is a good patch and I hope we get it asap , I have been taking a long break from a game I love because it doesn't feel rewarding enough to play , it is time for that to end :)

As glad as I am that PTR is closing , I am really surprised that Beta is closing , thought it is a continuous development until launch.

Anyways PTR is was in a great shape except for the lag when changing quests. can't wait for the patch to hit live.

    Cya all on live.

posted a message on Ladder Questions
Ladders will be implemented but not right away because players who played for thousands of hours and have paragon ~339 (2.0) will most likely be annoyed more than anything and it will be an insult to most of the player base who stuck with the game in the bad times , you don't reward your most loyal customers by implementing something that will invalidate all their accomplishments at the last second.

The developers already talked about ladders and they simply put it out there that they are thinking about them and thinking about implementing them in future patch. So now everybody knows that it will happen someday and it won't be a surprise when they announce it in a future content patch.

This game is built around PvE , there is no trading for items that drop in loot 2.0 or crafting materials or gold , so if somebody has paragon 2000 and has 100 billion gold , it has no effect on you or anybody whatsoever.
Also anything dropped prior to the launch of 2.01 will be considered legacy and all the legacy items can't be enchanted anymore , so somebody might have an advantage over you if you come with new account to the game only for the first 3-5 levels into RoS and then you and him will be equipping gear that drops and nothing will be used at level 70 from level 60 items.

So there is no need to worry about anybody getting an advantage over you.
I had alot of gold and I sold it all because it was gonna only take away from the fun , having 4b gold is like having infinite resources for the first few months and I could perfect my gear easily with enchanting , also if you played on the PTR lately you would know that leveling paragon is much easier in 2.01 and if you play alot you will easily catch up and if you don't play much then by the time the first week passes if everybody was to start fresh then you would see people ahead of you by alot in paragon and gear because some players will be playing more than 12 hours a day.

posted a message on [PTR 2.0] WW/Haori: Theorycrafted 100% crit build.
I also thought about this item with the barb and increasing the HP pool alot to a point that 25% HP is actually a high value of health points and dropping all the CC for this item , but testing needs to be done.

Also I am not sure how it will work because you will end up getting 50% crit chance instead of 100% , just because when you have that 100% crit chance and you do WW then you will jump to 26% and lose the crit chance and next time you attack you got 5% crit chance then you take a hit and you are back to 100% , so it is gonna be probably 1 hit crit , next no crit and so on and that's 50% crit chance not 100% and if that how it works out in the end then it is not worth the hassle.

unless if you don't rely on WW to deal damage but only to heal you up to 20-25% health and then you use other abilities to deal damage until you drop back below 20% and then you WW alittle bit to get back up to 20-25%.

I think this item will turn out to be interesting and alot of builds/classes will try to utilize it , but like you I don't have the item to test anything with it and I don't have the Beta to use the Mystic to reroll stats away.

I also think this chest will open up the option to play as glass cannon on Wizard/WD/DH/Throw Barb and Hand of Ytar or Bell Monk with Tzo Krin's Gaze(Wave of Light cast at your Enemy).

Throw barb with Seismic Slam(Freezing rune) and Avalanche and Ancient Spear Boulder Toss can probably dish out crazy damage without ever being touched.

Damn I am excited for RoS.

    I guess I won't be joining with that 500 posts limit :)

How many members in the clan currently play in the US and how many in the EU ?it might not be an issue to start with,

    What Rithika said.

When D3V launched and I was still leveling , even crafting an item that cost tens of thousands seemed like a big amount of Gold and I was always broke because I was opening Stash and leveling Jewelcrafter and Blacksmith.

posted a message on I really hope this is a bug...
To obtain such weapon you need to either get it from a friend or enchant one yourself.

If your friend will give you one and it is your first playhrough , you might wanna catch up to him fast and play with him at level 70 , though I wouldn't ruin the first playthrough for a friend because it is fun and it teaches him to play better if he can't just melt everything on sight because of an OP weapon for his level.

If you are enchanting one for yourself then you already reached level 70 once and it is your choice to either get such weapon to reach level 70 fast again or if you want the legit playthrough , I already leveled many characters to 60 and I now use anything to help me level up faster if I want to level another character and I don't think it will ruin the fun for me.

Also leveling in D2 was super easy if you had twink gear , just like in D3 , you could even get boosted easily and reach level 60-70 in 1 session.

posted a message on A personal opinion of...
Well , they did a small thing that is overlooked , rewarding the ones who don't die.

Pool of Reflection - as long as you are alive you gain 25% extra xp bonus for 10% of your total XP and if you get another Pool while yours is still active , it extends it by another 10% and this effect stays active as long as you stay alive , one death and it is gone , you can log out and return and it will still be active as long as you don't die , this is a good approach I believe , rewarding the ones that play better instead of punishing the ones that die.At one point they tried the approach of increasing repair costs and it was a nightmare , you would play an hour or two hours and you would come out short on Gold and no legendaries and you felt as if you did nothing and it was better if you didn't play because you regressed instead.

I think this concept is amazing and I hope they expand on it with more stuff like that , rewarding the ones that play better.

posted a message on Blizzard removes enchanting for "60 items", oh but 2.0.1 60s can be enchanted...
    I agree with this move.

I agree because I think everybody should start out on even ground when RoS starts , regardless of the hours you spent in D3V , this is a new expansion and you are already getting an advantage by having Gold and Paragon levels move from D3V , I also am not sure why Mannercookie is that angry about the change , if you are saying that all the level 60 items will be useless once we get level 70 legendaries , then why are you annoyed by this change ? best case scenario these items will last a month or two into RoS and then they will become as useless as anything else because they are already bound to your account and you have better items anyways and they are only taking stash space , if it is because it devalues your current account , then you waited too long to cash out if you wanted to cash out , the risks have been there since the beginning and if you were worried about losing all that money you could have made then maybe you should have sold all your gear earlier and stayed on the safe side of things.

I can understand your frustration MC , but if you were instead of blizzard , you wouldn't want the mistakes of the past to be repeated , if there is a chance for one item to become BiS after RoS then that is a huge huge mistake on their part like Legacy Nat set bonus , these items broke the game in D3V when they had good stats and made DH invincible when you can stay in smokescreen all day long and Philos showed the potential of these items in RoS and they are still game breaking , blizzard wanted to be on the safe side of things and avoid any potential hazards like Legacy Nat or other items from being repeated. Rather safe than sorry.

    Quote from CardinalMDM
    Quote from Nucleotides

No datModz? I don't see any of these D3 people anymore, but Modz teaches me how to monk!
I've only seen a few of DatModz vids on RoS, but maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, was he friggin annoying.

And he seriously must have an army of peeps who wanna learn how to DDoS, because when I clicked on the link, 3rd from the top, that Bagstone lists, people totally spammed that topic with DatModz comments.

Voted for Archon. He's informative, easy to listen to, takes the game seriously, never gets arrogant about it, he's analytical but not overly critical, funny once in a while...guy's not a showman, he's just doing his thing. He cares about the game and shares stuff about it, shares his opinions and wants to hear from people. DatModz tries to be a celebrity, like he's on a 24/7 reality show. Not a fan.
Not a fanboy , but I haven't seen Datmodz act arrogantly or disrespect his followers or viewers , I enjoy his stream , the guy is always smiling what more can you ask for ? :). Unlike another streamer who thinks he is a celebrity and is usually talking trash about other games that he plays and got most his viewers from and then when he switches back he calls it the best game just to please his viewers and has many mindless viewers who nearly worship him.

Archon is nice but I don't feel like he is good at the game.

If I was to choose from the list who knows his class best , I would go with Invis. but I went with datmodz because he has always been streaming D3 and stuck with the game.

To each his opinion anyways :).

posted a message on [PTR] Perma Meteor Build

They shouldn't nerf any good item that doesn't break the game totally just for being overused by many players because it is really good.

They should nerf the drop rate instead to make it a goal for many players , I am sure Meteor builds will still function ,but even if you have a working meteor build and you happen to find a cindercoat you will be happier and your build becomes even more effective simply because Cindercoat will probably be BiS for fire based builds.

Same with Wand of Woe , I don't know why they nerfed it to the point that almost no one will use , they should have kept it the same but made it rarer.
They are not playing the rarity card right I think , instead they are nerfing anything that they think is overpowered or overused when it is a game about being overpowered.

posted a message on Immortality on Monks reachable ?

Ok , lets clarify again , this video isn't here to show skills , why is everybody thinking I am showing off my monk.

First , I just happened to have to go AFK for a bit when this happened and when I got back , I found 5 of these flayers firing at me and hitting , btw these mobs hurt like hell with my low resistance at Master , so at torment 3 these will murder me if I don't react quickly , I was using the Mantra of Healing with extra LPS not all resist and I wasn't using the Ally for Life Regen , I was using spirit because again , this wasn't planned , I just wanted to try something with some extra LPS because my monk has horrible survivability , then when I noticed that I wasn't dying , I decided to record this and I am here to show that this has potential , nothing more.

Is it game breaking ? for 60 maybe, I don't have high resist , I don't have almost any LpS on my gear , no LoH on gear , nothing out of this world , I also fought 3 champion packs with this build , Arcane still kills me because again I don't have enough resists and no matter who you are , if you are in a tight corner with 2 beams under you , you will die , the other pack was Molten with reflect and the last I can't even remember but they couldn't kill me aswell.

posted a message on Auction House Flipping. How to be successful?

Auction House in D3 is different than WoW in that randomness is much bigger here.

Current situation in AH makes it hard to flip items , less items are selling and prices are changing alot , you have to be extra careful and smart about what you buy and sell.

Items that have gone up in Price :

Sun Keeper with CHD over 80% and Weapon Damage 47-50% with Socket , Damage to Elites 8-10%.(Weapon Dps doesn't matter , rerolled at Mystic)(Good to flip if you happen to snipe one as soon as it is put up for less than it should be)

    Inna's Temperance - 9%Attack Speed 195+ Vit.

Echoing Fury - 80%+ CHD +0.23 APS Socket , 38-40% Weapon Damage.(Weapon Dps doesn't matter , rerolled at Mystic in RoS)

Lacuni Prowlers : 9%Attack Speed , 5-6% CHC , high vit and another main stat(main stat doesn't matter as long as it is there , rerolled at mystic).

Witching Hour : 9% Attack Speed , 40-50% CHD , 8-12% Life , 50-80All res and high vit/armor (This item has 90 int atleast always , this stat will be rerolled , also alot of variance in Witching Hour can still sell , anything with high Attack speed and Crit hit damage , Pick up radius is getting more expensive and high vit roll is good)

Rings/Amulets : Different types of rings are selling for much more expensive than they used to , specifically the ones with 8-9% Attack Speed and Crit Chance/Crit Damage with main stat and socket and any other primary stat that can be rerolled into either Crit Chance or Crit damage , the higher you go with these the more expensive , also average damage will make these items skyrocket in price.
With the rings come many types with more expensive prices like Natalya Rings/Zuni Rings/Tal's Amulets , just look for something that can be rerolled to Trifecta but Attack Speed is a must have on these pieces because RoS items don't roll 8-9% attack speed , also sockets are important because gems give about 220 main stat.

Mempos : Although they are cheaper , they are still selling and if you bid on some , you might be able to flip , look for 9%attack speed with 5-6% Crit Chance.

    Chantodo's Wand : 9-10APoC Socket and high +aps.

    Natalya's Boots : 90-100 Vit.

    Zuni's Trail : 70+ All res , 8% Poison Damage 150+ Vit

Tal Rasha's Chest : Attack Speed again makes it an expensive chest.

Trifecta Gloves : 9% Attack Speed , 45-50% ChD , 8.5-10%ChC with main stat and all res go for sick amount of gold , also the legendary gloves with Socket if they are trifecta they have now much much higher price because they can be even more competitive than most items you find at 70.

The list goes on and on , some items can be bought now cheaper because less people are looking for them , for example I bought a crazy immortal king chest with 170 Str 291 vit and 800 armor and 78 all res for 200m and sold it for 400m , these items are a risk now , because if you pay alot for them , you could end up wasting gold instead of making gold , the longer you wait on these , the lower the price will go aswell.

Again , buying and reselling now is a risk and don't risk it if you don't know how to flip and what to flip , don't spend alot of gold on an item that you might end up stuck with it and unable to sell , because soon enough all these items will be worthless(IK Chest , Zuni Chest , Vile Shoulders , Nat Boots without vit or low vit , Ice Climbers , weapons).

Just keep the Mystic in mind and think what could be rerolled on an item and how will it be in RoS.
