DMO set for the massive spectral blades damage boost.

Squirt's Necklace because this build loves its shields (which prevents you from losing stacks) and it gives a really good damage bonus beyond anything else in this slot.

To compliment Squirts, use Ashnaggar's to keep your shields up.

Bastions of Will gets procced by Spectral + EB, they are run for maximum damage.

Shame of Delsere + Depth Diggers in cube give a respectable damage boost to spectral blades.

Fragment of Destiny is an obvious inclusion for the attack speed and bonus damage on Spectral Blade, this build's main damage ability.

Orb of Infinite Depth is a good tool for close range survival and provides a damage boost just by using EB on cooldown.

Furnace and Convention in cube both help this build with damage.

Simplicity's Strength buffs Spectral Blade considerably. Bane of the Trapped procs off your own Slow Times even without the aura and provides a great damage bonus. Bane of the Stricken is the final choice to power through Rift Guardians and Elites.

Build Guide

Spectral Blade is this build's main damage ability, using the Thrown Blade rune for increased damage and range. An alternate option is Barrier Blades if you are having difficulty staying alive.

Explosive Blast isn't a primary source of damage for this build and mainly exists to power up Spectral Blade/provide damage reduction through Bastions of Will and Orb of Infinite Depth.

Magic Weapon with the Deflection rune provides powerful shields constantly from your rapid Spectral Blade attacks.

Energy Armor with the Force Armor rune protects against heavy burst damage that could otherwise break your shields and remove the damage bonus from Squirt's Necklace, cutting off up to 100% of your maximum life from every attack. This effect is even more powerful considering how heavily this build specs into vitality and maximum life.

Slow Time is an obvious inclusion in a DMO build. The Stretch Time rune is used to boost attack speed for yourself, increasing the shields you're able to generate and the damage you're able to deal.

Finally, Teleport is used for general mobility, and the Safe Passage rune further boosts your survivability with this close range build.

Audacity is naturally used for a melee-range wizard build to increase damage output. Galvanizing Ward provides a hefty shield that will help to keep Squirt's Necklace active, empowered by Ashnaggar's Blood Bracer. Unstable Anomaly is a strong cheat death passive and synergizes with Ashnaggar as well, but can be dropped for the damage boost of Glass Cannon if you're feeling daring. Blur is used to reduce damage to your shields, as this is a very close range build.
