I highly suggest equipping The Flavor of Time on your follower and then equipping the Squirt's Necklace on yourself, allowing you to receive the time-doubled pylon effects and the bonus damage buff. Make sure you equip a Unity ring on your follower and yourself to gain the damage received split buff. And, of course, use a max-level Diamond in your Visage of Gunes to gain the cooldown bonus from the cubed Leoric's Crown.

Best damage bonus stats always go as follows:

#1 The highest of your character type's primary stat, either Dex, Str, or Int.

#2 The highest Critical Hit Chance%

#3 The highest Critical Hit Damage%

#4 The Highest Attack Speed%

Per Armor Piece, Weapon, or Off-Hand - Chest, Hands, Wrists, etc.

Every armor piece/weapon/off-hand type does not allow all of the previously mentioned stats, but searching for items with as many of the highest of each available stat in the said order will provide the most significant damage available to that item.
