Natalya's Vengeance is finally a competitive set. It caught me by surprise tbh, I wasn't expecting it to be this powerful. Set is great overall, and we have 7 pieces, so plenty of options to choose how to gear. This build uses 2H weapon ATM because it is much easier to maintain constant full Hatred that way, but I will try the variation with Natalya's Slayer as soon as I socket my ancient crossbow.

I wasn't able to select Natalya's Set for gloves and pants in this build guide because those pieces are still available on PTR only, so have that in mind.

Try to roll Resource cost reduction on every piece you can afford to. Strafe will deplete our hatred easily if we use faster weapons and have 0 RCR. Cooldown reduction is also good, but I would advice it to be a second choice.

Optional gear:

Head: %Cold Andariel's Visage can be considered if you are wearing RoRG, but there are better Natalya pieces to be replaced in that case.

Amulet: Good rolled Hellfire Amulet would be BIS, but Countess or Xephirian or any other dmg prevention amulet would do the job, Eye of Etlich is amazing because ranged monsters really hurt (we are unable to instant freeze them like melee, so if there is a huge pack of them, they can instakill us). I am using Rakoff's Glass of Life atm, I don't have anything better, but health globes are kind of nice to have.

Wrists: Aughild's Search can be a good option if paired with Aughild's Power shoulders and RoRG.

Hands: Natalya's Gloves are desirable (Crit Chance, Crit Damage, Dex, Attack Speed, or Vitality if you must) but Frostburn are also a nice choice if you have amazing roll.

Waist: Crushing Rain is an absolute beast, critting in billions. String of Ears is great defensive piece if you really must, but melee are not the problem most of the time.

Legs: Natalya's Pants (Dex, Armor, All Res, 2 Sockets) or Hexing Pants of Mr Yan (my second option when playing with Natalya's Slayer crossbow)

Rings: You can choose between Natalya ring and RoRG. If you are using Nat Crossbow use Unity, that would be a HUGE defense boost. Nothing compares to it really.

Weapon: Demon Machine is perfect for this build, but you can use whatever 2h weapon you have best dmg with, Arcane Barb or Hellrack are nice options. If using Nat Crossbow, everything changes a bit. I would advice to dual wield then, using Calamity in other hand. But I will most likelly need to test it some more before posting final decision.

Offhand: Holy Point Shot is with %Cold Damage would be BIS, but it is hard to achieve that. Archfiend Arrows can be crafted easily and has Resource cost reduction and increased damage against elites, so that would be my next choice.

Build Guide

This whole build has amazing synergy, so try to utilize that. Strafe through groups of mobs if you are confident enough, Icy Trail lasts 3 seconds and it procs every second making Vengeance and Rain of Vengeance available more often. When going into a group of monsters, strafe towards them and throw Rain of Vengeance on top so they can't fight back (while being frozen).

If you are not confident in going all in, strife around monsters and throw RoV on top of them. Cooldowns would reset a bit slower, but it is doable and much safer. You will use this way of playing when fighting something like Electrified, Molten, Rift Guardians etc.

Use Shadow Power before every big or dangerous fight. Gloom is like mini Unity and LOH is nice to have too.

Mark for Death the weakest monster or the most dangerous one that when there are no weaklings around. Most of the time you are going to be able to just transfer MfD Contagion through half the map. Use it manually on Rift Guardian.
