You need to get 3 pieces of Immortal King's (Go for the belt so you can get another piece of Wastes some where else) and 3 Pieces of Wrath of the Wastes. This gives you 40% damage reduction and perma Wrath of the Berserker.

If soloing, use a Unity along with your follower (Templar) with a Unity as well, this is a 50% damage reduction and will allow you to use Insanity for Wrath of the Berserker instead of Striding Giant.

I really enjoy using the Bul-kathos weapons now and I have no issues with fury generation combined with those and the Ancients Fury rune on Call of the Ancients. I can spam whirlwind non-stop as well as spam Sprint - Run like the Wind and Battlecry to reduce the cooldown of Wrath of the Berserker. There are literally tornadoes and dust devils EVERYWHERE! This little buggers then proc Gem of Efficacious toxin, allowing you to just hit them and run on and monsters die behind you.

Hexing pants give you a huge damage boost and you will never ever stop moving with Whirlwind so their buff is up all the time.

Also, try and get Call of the Ancients damage on your shoulders and chest. This will help out greatly with their DPS (though they really only get a chance to hit anything on Grifts 30+).

For Core, get your movement speed to 25%, then dump into strength unless you find yourself dying too easily, then toss some into vitality. I recommend having at least 480k health for grifts 30+.

For Offense, cooldown reduction first to make sure you get permanent Wrath of the Berserker. Then stack into critical hit damage, then critical hit chance. Try to keep your ratio as close to 10 CHD to 1 CHC as possible (ie 380% CHD to 38% CHC). Then dump the rest into attack speed, Run like the Wind and Dust Devils benefit from attack speed.

For Defense, All Resist first, then Armor (mitigation is better then recovery), then Life, then Life Regen. If you get Life per Fury spent on your belt you can drop Life regen to the bottom, as you will be spending fury all the time with Whirlwind.

For Utility, drop all points into Area Damage first, then Life on Hit, then Gold find. You want to avoid Resource Cost reduction as you want to spend fury for heals and to lower the cool down of Wrath of the Berserker.

Build Guide

With this build, you will try to get 3 pieces of Wrath of the Wastes and 3 pieces of Immortal Kings. With a Ring of Royal Grandeur you will then be able to get permanent Wrath of the Berserker and the 40% damage reduction from Wrath of the Wastes.

Taeguk really makes Whirlwind shine, especially with the Bul-kathos weapons giving you unlimited fury regen with the Call of the Ancients - Ancient's Fury rune. Taeguk at higher levels gives you tons of armor and damage and is so easy to maintain on a whirlwind barb compared to many other classes.

I have cruised through grifts so far as high as 36 with this set with 8.5 minutes left and 0 deaths. I will keep testing and see how high I can climb and post an edit letting you know my progress.

If you have any questions, please post a comment and I will try and answer them as quickly as possible.
