Band of Might
For your barb to leap as fluid as possible, and also to use WotB more often, you need about 33% CDR. To achieve this, you will have to use diamond in helmet, 8% CDR on shoulders, and also on one of the rings. Absolute minimum would be somewhere about 27% CDR. Anything below that and you will be forced to use Boon of Bul-Khatos passive.
I recommend using hellfire amulet with Boon of Bul-Khatos passive, but you can use many different passives here, depending on gear perfection or play style. Brawler is ok if you need even more dmg, nerves of steal to cheat death, or relentless as also a good solution for a defensive passive.
If you dont have hellfire amulet, you can use Eye of Etlich, since ranged attacks can be a bit problematic when you spam your seismic slams. Amulet slot can be used even by Flavor of Time, to save one CDR slot on ring.
Stack all resist on shoulders, pants, boots, and rest should be as much as possible physical damage reduction.
It is recommended to have max fury on either weapon or belt, preferably both, to save few paragons.

Resource Cost Reduction

Core
Max resource is not extremely needed in this build at all. You will need about up to 20 more fury points to use your Seismic Slam to reset your Leap ability. You can get this from weapon (up to 24 max fury) or belt ( up to 12 max fury). If you feel like putting in few paragons into this, its ok, just do not waste too much of them.
Movement speed is useful, just don't forget that 25% MS combined with gear is cap.
Rest should be invested in primary stat.
Offense
Cooldown reduction is what this build need to be fluid for playing.
CHC/CHD are next to go for, and attack speed is least efficient stat you could choose here.
However, if you find your seismic slam attacks too slow to reset your leaps fast enough, do not hesitate to spend few paragons here before paragon 800 if you struggle too much.
Defense
Resist all, then armor/life, last life regen
Utility
Area damage is very important, max it asap.
Do not spend any paragon to resource cost reduction, it is very bad stat for any barbarian build that depends on life per fury healing and it also slows down resetting your leaps.
Build Guide
MotE barbarians, rejoice! 2.4.2 will be again a good patch for users of this potent set, with the introduction of new legendary power added to mighty belt, Gridle of Giants. What it does now is that every time you use seismic slam, all your earthquakes that you start in next 3 seconds will be augmented by up to 100%.
This is physical variation of a build, and it will be able to do solo grifts 90+
Other variations might be also viable, as fire build or even cold build.
You will need 4 seismic slams to fully reset your leaps.
There are two ways to play this build.
- using seismic slam after each leap and then spam it to reset
- spamming seismic slam after 3 consecutive leaps
Since you are pretty much a sitting dick while you spam your seismic slams, what you need is War Cry. I like impunity rune with this build a bit more than veteran's warning, but both are good to use. The great thing about War Cry in this build is that it synergies greatly with Blade of Tribes, giving you a chance to start at least 4 earthquakes in 3 seconds after spamming seismic slams.
I find that WotB with rune Insanity is bread and butter against elites. Significantly increased damage, attack speed that deliver more slams and resets leaps faster, increased dodge, CC imunity... 20 seconds of pure evil toward the poor old little mobs. If you use Boon of the Bul-Kathos passive, you will find this skill absolute jou to use, and it makes real impact on grift clear time.
If you want to try fire variation of this build, use these changes.
Earthquake rune should be Volcano - HUGE 6k% weapon damage over time
Seismic Slam rune should be Shattered Ground - 735% weapon damage AND stagger effect on hit
Leap rune should be Call of Arreat - 16 yard pull effect, to pull mobs inside your earthquakes
also, do not forget that your amulet and bracers need fire damage increased in this variation.
If you want to try cold variation of this build, use these changes.
Earthquake rune should be Chilling Earth - it will FREEZE enemies on hit
Seismic Slam rune should be Permafrost - 755% weapon damage AND chill effect on hit
Leap rune should be Call of Arreat - 16 yard pull effect, to pull mobs inside your earthquakes
also, do not forget that your amulet and bracers need cold damage increased in this variation.
Do not even try lightning variation, because it sucks, lol.
BTW, there might be others who figured these variations of seismic slam MotE too, I give them credit for them too.
Will test it. But do not forget that BoD damage is multiplier. With 6 pieces MotE damage boost is huge for SS.
"But do not forget that BoD damage is multiplier. With 6 pieces MotE damage boost is huge for SS."
If that is the case might as well cube BotT and equip FotVP. SS and EQ +avalanche will do way more damage than the Furnace. For some really fast fun cube in-geom
