Build Guide
Wasn't gonna bother posting this, but since Bagstone's sage set comparison had some (IMO) pretty sad DH sage builds I decided I'll share one of mine.
I find my builds way easier to play and more effective than the other sage builds posted here, and I figured maybe some others would as well. This isn't necessarily the best DH DB build, but it's among the easiest to play, and at least effective as any others I've seen posted online (there are at least a couple others I know of that I've never seen posted anywhere, so go and explore builds a bit )
I've used this sage setup mostly in T8 and T10, it can farm DBs on higher as well, but there are more effective sage builds for that.

Just for reference, I only started HC like 4 days ago this season, and the run is on is my HC alt. So the character is pretty poorly geared:
- 0 ancients
- 0 augments (obviously)
- 531 paragon
- 7700 dex, lol
- A lv60 or so bane of trapped, and 2 other crappy gems, i think lv25 on both
- I have a wasted passive and cube item (awareness passive and Gunes because I'm playing HC. HP doesn't even dip in T8, but better safe than sorry).
As an additional note, I haven't played this for a while. So as you can see I run into walls, backtracked like half a map running into a dead end, shoot facing the wrong direction, missing prep on cooldown a bunch of times, etc. And even with poor gameplay and awful gear it still performs just as well as the builds that were posted here.

1) The build is primarily around mobility. Yang's 50% reduction, Cindercoat, and Prep allow for nearly unlimited vaults when played properly (like not missing prep CDs the way I did in the video, lol). Get to elite, then kill them. Pretty straightforward. Unlike a UE-MS build you don't need to watch your disc as it has no effect on your damage output. (The same reason I generally prefer M6-MS over UE-MS when doing solo speeds).
2) DPS is built around M4, along with cindercoat and seethe for hatred. No generator needed keeps gameplay pretty fail-proof. While M4 was traditionally somewhat of a ramp up build, this variation only runs on 3 sentries, usually 1, 2, or even all 3 are up by the time you reach the next elite pack, so you almost always have max DPS. DML is significantly better than bombardiers for this setup due to ramp up, plus DML bonuses are better anyways.
Because this is NOT M6, most of your damage comes from your sentries, not you. So when you play terribly like I did shooting in the wrong direction and stuff, most of your damage still gets to the mobs because sentries usually face the right direction.
3) The build is pretty durable. M2 makes any build durable. unlimited vaults make you even less likely to die. And if you're on HC, add in gunes, garwulf, or archews, and you can eat molten explosions. Awareness for extra safety, lol.
