Build Guide
This build thrives on density! Massive essence regen build for more consistent singularity mage spawn. Great first build in seasons as it's optimized for low paragon (350K sheet, 7500 INT in test setup). Managed to clear TXIII as quick as 2m 30s. Enjoy!
Build is less reliant on stuns for damage, since we are not using Krysbin's Sentence ring. However, I still prefer the dislocation rune for low paragon, since it's so easy to die without Goldwrap bonus, or when clicking pylons.
EDIT (7/13/2017): I've since replaced the Trapped gem in this build with Powerful. Powerful is easier to proc and a more consistent damage bonus, especially at lower paragons. Listing Moratorium as your best alternate defensive gem option for this slot.
Multipliers:
Essence Generation:
- Devour (Cannibalize)
- Requiem Cereplate
- Siphon Blood (Purity of Essence)
- Swift Harvesting
- Dark Reaping
- Blood Rush (Molting)
- Inspire (Templar)
Essence Cost Reduction:
Defense:
Movement:
Skeletal Mage Duration:
Stuns from Bone Armor (Dislocation), great when used with Nemesis Bracer.
Alternate Passives:
Alternate Skills:
- Any preferred rune of Command Skeleton (when opting for Commander of the Risen Dead).
- Bone armor (Harvest of Anguish) for more movement Speed (10%).
Alternate Gems:
- Moratorium (best defensive option).
- Trapped (higher paragon option).
Alternate Items (high paragon swaps):
- RoRG + Tasker and Theo
- RoRG + Gloves of Worship
- Hellfire Amulet (with any of the alternate passives above, or those listed on the build)
- Avarice Band
Thanks for this Cratic. I used your video guides to get through last season with Wiz and it got me far. I'm sure these new necro guides will help me again on the upcoming season. I love these builds that are geared for low paragon level but able to clear T13 an an efficient manner in order to help with more legendary drops.
Thanks for your support! Keep an eye out for more guides + alterations to this one in particular. Just now I've replaced Trapped gem to Powerful, for more consistent bonus while at lower paragon. Hopefully I won't need to make many more changes as I dislike having the video different than the build. =)
This is the first Rathma pet build I am comfortable with after Inarius. And you have a great video also. Thanks!
Hi Iamens, yes.
Taking the gem out was to lower sheet damage and such, to show that it works well even with the worst of gear. This isn't the most efficient speed rifting build for Rathma, but if you're starting out, I feel it is definitely a good one to go with.
