how to beat those? I have teleport it sometimes saves me but the cooldown is way too long so 3 times out of 4 i'm stuck in the jails and killed by the mortars, DIamond skin dosen,t help much dosen,t even absorb half the mortars...
illusionist passive, as long as ur not gettin one shot it will reset TP CD almost every time ur hit
when ur jailed and its on cooldown keep spammin till u get hit and insta port
Diamond skin kinda sucks once you reach a certain hp threshhold. Teleport is a much more viable alternative as a defensive ability at that point. Granted there's are exception(Azmodan).

i'm using it, but it dosen't seem to work, the cooldown never resets after a mortar... so all 4 mortars hit me and I get killed (sometimes even more if I get those of the other champs as well)
My friend and I don't have much trouble with that combo. I play a barb and she plays a Wizard. That could be most of our success on it though. I know she likes Mirror Images for jailers though. That gets you out instantly and doesn't have much of a CD. Maybe diamond skin and MI? The only thing that gives us trouble really is arcane enchanted mobs in tight corridors.

the thing is I basically need Energy armor with force armor especially in inferno since I'm using Glass Cannon most of the time it kinda makes up for the Def loss, and I can,t switch skills when I see a pack with this because of Nephalem Valor,

use teleport with fracture if u get jailed and really close to them, after that you will have 2 images from fracture to lure some jails themselves, so with 1 well timed teleport fracture it can buy u quite some time, also against mortars, if there are pillars near you can hide behind them circling around, pillars will protect you from the mortars, mov speed is important.

jailes jail everything within range, so it won't be effective, the only way mirror image is useful agains't jailers are if used in the jail it throws you out,
also there is no way i'm changing teleport rune, I like it that way considering how cheesy it works in D3 if I get stuck in some background thing that I didn,t got through (like rock piles xD) I can spam it again and still move out w/o having to wait 16 more sec
I don't know what you are doing wrong, I use teleport with illusionist and I rarely get killed by that combo, even if it has waller too. I assume we are talking inferno.
yeah was in Cathedral lvl one inferno and got a Jailer+Mortar+Plagued+Arcane enchanted pack the little health I could remove from them was healed everytime i died since it took 30+ more sec to respawn, decided to give up finally...
I never had much issue with them either, as long as I had enough room to kite. I normally outrange the mortars pretty easily with run speed. In the rare event I get butted up against an obstacle an walled in I just teleport/wormhole away. I personally prefer wormhole as I can often get far enough away that the mobs reset aggro, just hold down the key it's bound to and you'll have plenty of room. Drop a hydra, see where it casts and launch an orb or 2 in the same direction, as soon as they show up on screen start moving.
I use a 2 hander so arcane orb hits like a truck, illusionist so if I'm in a bind I can teleport again with ease and diamond skin in case I'm teleporting through fire, poison pools, mobs, etc.
Illusionist only procs if you get hit for 15% of your life. How much damage is on your character sheet and how much HP do you have? Also Diamond Skin is horrible in inferno due to lack of scaling, drop it for something else.

As many people have said. Mirror images and teleport give you two cooldowns to get you out of jailer. Illusionist will reset those cooldowns whenever you get hit. Those three skills are your best defensive abilities in my opinion. I only dropped any of them if I felt completly safe in an act I was doing.

Spend the 500k to 1mil on a legit weapon and triple your dps right there. That'll help a lot more than a certain build or strat. With 43k dps in my resist set without Magic Weapon, I can get 3-4 AO's off at max range, then Archon once they aggro, Teleport Archon when they get close, 1-2 are dead by the time they get to me (yes A2 and A3 inferno). Then it's easy street kiting 2 mobs since it's no longer perma-mortar bombs.

Honestly you don't need Blizzard AND Hydra if you have Arcane Orb. The only reason you would use both Blizzard and Hydra in the same build is if you are doing a full DOT build and you don't use Arcane Orb. Basically in inferno you NEED 4 slots dedicated to defending yourself. Teleport/Fracture, Mirror Image, and Force armor are almost must haves.

I have a 700 dps 1h with 100 vita/int, bought it for 400k, any improvement on this costs at least 1M.
