Azriel, I'm on the same page. It's natural for us as intelligent life forms to question everything, which in so few words leads to fear of the unknown. Unless we know exactly what's happening, there's mystery, and in mystery there's fear.
So in what you are saying, I should fear death because it is mysterious and nobody truly knows what happens when we die. Well guess what, I just blew that shit outta the water. I'm actually very curious as to what we experience when death approaches and when we are finally touched by the forgiving angel. I'm also very patient and know that I will eventually satisfy my curiosity and will find other experiences as I wait to fulfill the ultimate experience. And no I am not afraid to die. I am afraid that when I die, I would not have had the pleasure of experiencing a full lifetime of events.
I would quote a certain philosophical drow but I don't feel like thumbing through pages of a few books just to look for what he has said about what it is to live a life time.
No, that's not was I was saying at all actually. Thanks for the inspirational glimpse into your perceived view of life and death though? .
I just wanted to touch on the concept that as a intelligent species we wonder. We ask questions, even if we know the answer. We question what we doubt, and what we fear, among on things.

I remember I believed in this kind of stuff... when I was 12. Honestly if there were some sort of "secret societies" like the Illuminati, they would have been exposed/risen to power long ago. I mean they've had plenty of chances to assume power, and example would be the Great Depression. People were so distraught and desperate they would've gone for ANYTHING. I'm not denying that maybe big business and corporations have a little more influence than we realize, but to go as far as saying that ultra rich super societies are one day going to take over the world is a bit foolish in my opinion.
I hate when people argue that point. You can make a convincing argument without any evidence because all you have to say is "Well these guys are so powerful they cover their tracks!" and then the whole thing is just going back and forth because really theres no way to prove or discredit it.

There IS no way to credit or discredit it, it's the same as religious debates. It just ends with what you believe. Obviously if some sort of "shadow government" exists they wouldn't let themselves be found out. Or they could just not exist in the first place. That's just for the individual to decide. I'm on the fence but I sure as hell don't trust what the governments want at face value.
Did you hear about the 7 corporate fat cats that "gamble" with our tax money with no consequences for themselves, and a lot to gain? Yeah think about that one. These 7 douche bags in ties created this whole fucking economic mess because they wanted to make a few billion more dollars by buying and selling stocks with our taxes. If I was in the same room as those seven, well, they wouldn't be breathing anymore, let's put it that way.

Or it was caused by reckless spending and corporate greed. I honestly do not think it was caused by just seven people, all of the large corporations simply spent more money than they had causing the huge economic downturn.

I'm not referring to New World Order as some secret society taking over the world. I'm talking about one world wide government, rather than 100's of governments across the world. The Great Depression has nothing to do with this.

Oh my apologies for misinterpreting what you were trying to say. But the GD (Great Depression, c wut i did ther) still is a completely relevant scenario for this whole "one world government" thing to play out. If the OWG (2 TIMES IN ONE POST) was going to arise then the GD would have been a stellar time to, ya dig?
As Party said, the time for the implementation of the NWO would have been most accessible during the Great Depression just because, during the Great Depression, the people were more desperate to try anything to get them out of it and it would have been much more easier to actually go about doing it since they didn't live in the technologically advanced age we do now. All it would've taken was a few dozen telegrams between the leaders of all interested countries and they could've done anything right underneath the noses of the people.
And, oh yeah, corporate leaders will do anything to maximize profits. Ever since Glass-Steagall was dissolved, our economy has been increasingly shaky. Market speculation, much like what happened that caused the Great Depression, has been shown to have the ability to bring the economy to its knees. Glass-Steagall created the wall between commercial and investment banking and, when that wall was destroyed in 1999, market speculation went up as a result.
And do you want to know why the act was repealed?
"To promote competitiveness."

Oh yeah, I dig! haha two reasons that I believe stopped that from playing out during the GD, is because of all the different religions, and the different interpretations of "what is best" for the people.
