So with the (minor) tweaks that have been made with 1.13, what would people say is now the strongest, most powerful class character if you were to put it in the hands of a veteran Diablo player? Or is there no change in power at all? I know builds and everything else come into play with the answer to this question, but that's why I'm saying in the hands of a "veteran Diablo player" for this hypothetical.
Just curious what people are thinking about the characters now that a lil bit of nerfing and other things have happened.

Its still hammerdins and smiters..some necros can be very op as well if played right
Now with that said, I had a follow up question intended for this thread because I had a feeling that would be the answer.

maybe givven a couple different builds a bigger fighting chance. also, the builds that were on the line/mostly for fun another chance also. Ie wearwolf i think got some ups and i loved making wear wolfs. damn those are fun. ls+attspd+dex+furry is just fun. plus ur a badass.
PVP you cant really tell because its so gear and skill dependent...
Here is a list of the builds who can pwn in pvp.
Asassins - trapsins with ww, mind blast, enigma, etc...
Amazons - Bow glass cannons or javelin with charged strike etc...
Sorceress - max fcr fire sorc or Blizz / Frozen Orb.
Necromancer - Bone necros with enigma = pwnage.
Druid - Wind druids pwn. Fire druids are ok. Werewolfs can be tough.
Barbarian - BvC are pretty tough. Other ww builds could pwn too.
Paladin - Hammer, Foh, Aura, Smite, Charge.
Basically, with any of these classes / builds you can pwn many people in public pvp games. That of course is if you have the right gear, skills and knowledge of that class / build.
I still insist that a Bonemance with an Enigma is a really fun, really fucking strong, and really fucking versatile. They're the most fun to play, and they seriously pwn. Teleport and keep hitting Bone Spirit and literally nothing can stop you, expect maybe magic immunes.

Nothing has changed, since the nerf to hammerdins only effects PvM unless it is a necro reviving magic immunes.
You might see more hydra sorcs now but there arn't enough good players out there to actually use the build right and even those will get smashed vs a blizz / FB / Light sorc.

Honestly, I really don't even feel like the changes on Hydra were enough to make it viable. Most of those changes were percentages of horrible base stats (like casting delay and so forth). Not much really changed. There's a lot on the PTR right now because everyone's testing them out, but they're still just as annoying to play.
to me, it just sounds like what u guys are asking for is a semi redesign of the skills power. Imo, this doesnt seem that blasphamy or hard. i dont know jack $hit about making games or anything, but d2 is old, and its not like remaking the game with a new engine. nerf hamer more, fix more bugs (think i read somehwere there are still many), strengthen other builds, and my most fav, MELE! GIVE THEM A CHANCE!

Hammerdins have always seemed to be the consistent, dominant class/character/build you see throughout the later years of D2. I remember when it used to be everyone had a guided arrow zon with crazy life steal and cast rate. Pwnd all.

PVM, gonna be summoners pwning chaos all over the place. Lack of iron maiden and boosted corpse explosion, theyll be running as fast as hammerdins last patch, not to mention amp removes phys immune, there is nothing they can't pwn.
If you know how to play necro its pretty damn easy to make a boner/summon hybrid without investment in summons, that will be a beast at gm/bm solo/team duels on top of pvm, look for these to be the new hammerdins.
PVP, am I the only one that noticed barbs just got 10% more critical? Did they need that? Barbs always been my favorite class for pvp but this was uncalled for. Very few things could even stand up to a well built barb before, and the crit bonus will make some of the harder match ups even easier.
On a side note, nerf light sorcs? Why? They weren't overpowered, its just they were the sorc of choice for pvm because everything immune fire in hell, and ice is slow. You'll probably just end up seeing less light sorcs and more trappers.
In pvp anything elemental just gets pwned by stacked res/absorb. I'd rather have seen some sorb changes that would have hurt barb/pally and make elemental builds more viable than beefing barbs and nerfing light sorcs, way to go blizzard.
