We recently found out that they are planning on implementing an quiver item for the DH. This item will not be used for actual ammo, instead it will be an off-hand item to equip with one-handed xbows that will give you unique attributes. Do you like the idea of this or no? For what reason?

I usualy don´t play bow classes but I think this quiver thing is really interesting.
Don´t know how the game works right now, for me you have a Good bow with some basic powers, you put a quiver "of fire" and gets a fire damage bonus, if the monster is strong against fire, you switch the "fire quiver" for a arcane one, changing your damage without having to change the skill. (did I get it right?)
I guess double bowers won´t be deprived from equipping quivers. You should equip the quiver on the bow not on your other arm, as a regular item, two bows = two quivers
More customization and complexity.
off topic: you guys should do these Q&A about other classes, I´m dying to know abou those wizzard´s orbs.
They shouldn't be for two-handed weapons. The trade off of using a single-hand xbow is you get a quiver. The one-handed xbow will do much less damage than a two-hander.

I never really got into the whole *dual crossbow* thing. It just does not suite me personally; something about it just does not feel right; even the way she runs with them both pointed straight up sort of irks me...
DH is my least favourable class currently though; but when I do make one I will probably aim to go 2handed bow all the way (assuming they aren't so nerfed that they are useless of course)
I agree completely. On the quiver topic, I think they are not necessary and don't really add that much to the gameplay.

I understand that dual crossbows are weaker, so you don't necessarily have to use them, but I just hate the concept. The big crossbow that the Demon Hunter had in the announcement trailer was awesome, however.
Since the Amazon was my 2nd favorite class in D2, it intrigues me to see her close equivalent in D3.
But then again, the Assassin was my least favorite... But the combo of bows and traps are more appealing to me than martial arts and traps. I'll have to wait and see how it turns out.
Well they made it seem like it would be an off-hand equip. I personally think that it would be best if you could use a quiver with any weapon, but it would be interesting to give the extra option of one-handed xbow and quiver, as then the DH would pretty much have 4 weapon options. I think the quivers would have to be pretty powerful to be worth it compete with another pistol xbow.
I trolled pistol crossbows SO HARD. Seen that majorority of people prefer 1hand crossbow + off hand item or a 2 handed one over the dual wielding pistol crossbows is very satysfing. Just restored my faith on diablo comunnity hehe
Imo this is a great for the game. The more options the DH have, lower the chances of seen a dual pistol crossbower in game, wich is great.

"In time the hissing of her sanity
Faded out her voice and soiled her name
And like marked pages in a diary
Everything seemed clean that is unstained
The incoherent talk of ordinary days
Why would we really need to live?
Decide what is clear and what's within a haze
What you should take and what to give" - Opeth
