I was just wondering if there were any people on the forum who have attended blizz con. i have never been to blizz con and there are a few things i would like to know before i make an investment.
1. if you had a good time.
2. what kinds of things there are to do.
3. what are my chances of playing diablo 3 while im there.
4. how long do you get to play if so.
5. is it confusing like some conventions.
You do have chance to play their games there. I do not know what the wait is for one and if it is worth the cost of going there. If you live in the area the cost is likely to be worth it for the event.

On Strike and supporting Fallout 4 Mod Makers
Some fallout 4 mod makers have had their mods stolen and uploaded and downloaded on Bethesda's site for the Xbox One.
You know what, I'd like to hear the answers to this as well. I'm inching towards getting a ticket and would sure like to know a bit more about it before I make a decision.
1. if you had a good time.
I had a great time, I am a Blizzard news podcaster however, and in that vein I went to a lot of community parties after hours and My love for all the franchises is equal so there is a lot to do. I found myself wishing I could clone myself into about 4 people to do all I wanted.
2. what kinds of things there are to do.
Lots of cool panels, various little kiosks showing off all sorts of Blizzard and gaming related stuff to look at (things like the Starcraft board game and the WoW Figureprints definitely worth a lookaround), there's live esports, usually WoW arenas and Starcraft, and of course playtime on the upcoming titles.
3. what are my chances of playing diablo 3 while im there.
Very high, there is an area to play it, but the lineup is usually over half an hour so I'd try to do these early or during a WoW panel when most of the people are elsewhere.
4. how long do you get to play if so.
Best recollection is that you get between 15 and 20 minutes in there and you group up with 2 - 3 other players
5. is it confusing like some conventions.
It can be hard to get around but there's a pretty good map that you get and if you plan what you go to it's pretty manageable, only confusion is from the total huge amount of people.
I like Blizzcon, on video's. It's a cool thing, but I rather pass on such events. For a start it's WAY to far away and I'm really only interested in the Diablo franchise, so there would be a lot of useless news for me.
thats what is stoping me from going mostly. i have no interest in wow at all, and that seems to be about 70% of the stuff i see about blizz con.
thanks for your post tristanpej, kinda a bumer to hear that you can only get your hands on it for 20 minutes. is it possible to get seconds or thirds? haha
does anyone know some informational blizzcon websites?
Cool Tristan, thanks a lot. I figured I'd love it. The reason I'm planning this year (if I can get tickets) is because it will probably be the best Blizzcon for a while. DIII near finished, StarCraft II finished, and probably the announcement of their new franchise.
Plus I happen to have a couple dollars lying around and I just happen to live 10 minutes away from the Anaheim Convention Center.
If blizzcon came east coast say NY MSG anyone?.... id def go but as for now im 15 my prnts wouldnt let me go so im shit out of luck maybe in another 5-7 years if we make it past 2012 that is

Not even Death will save you from Diablo Bunny's Cuteness!
Yea that'd be cool to because I could just drive up there to NY. I wish it was in vegas though, I'm going back for my 21st and I'd be 21 by the time blizzcon actually happened
