Does blizzard have an official stand on weather using LootAlert is bannable? Was considering using it as I prefer to listen to music while playing. (so as to not miss any legendarys :))
People say not to use it, but I know a ton of people who have been using it for a very long time now with nothing happening to their accounts.
... until the next ban wave arrives and we have a bazillion people posting again "I got banned, I'm innocent, gimme my account back, Blizz are rubbish".

Whether or not they have actually banned people for it, they specifically can ban people for using any 3rd party program they want, especially those which scan memory. If you're using a program that's scanning memory and Blizzard hasn't explicitly said it's OK to use that program... then you're tempting fate.
