Because Maltrodextrin, L Carnitine, Ginseng, Inositol and some other substances aren't in it.
That's why guarana is better. You can get a shot of energy from it, and eat it every day in small amounts without cumilative harm for yourself.
And mixing a bunch of different substances together produces something different, from your information, which is why checking those ingredients separately is not too helpful. Separately, they may be ok. Mixed with gas, sugar, or some vitamin, they may become different.
Moreover, some of these substances are good in small amounts and not-so-good in large ones.
If something provides energy in big amounts there is always something potentially fishy about it.

An excess of vitamins isn't always bad. I get alot of vitamins each day, about 300% recommended amount of Vitamin C, and about 150% recommended amount of Vitamin A. There have been days where I got 1800% Vitmain C and 400% of Vitmain A and I didn't really have any problems, but I get most of that from fruits and vegetables. Natural vitmains like that rarely have negative side affects, of course I don't think that the Vitamin B in that drink is all natural, but I don't know if there are negative side affects to having too much or if you can actually get an overdose of it.

Strawman? Not so much anymore, I'm just stating my opinion.
Actually, there are some misconceptions in this thread.
Guarana is not healthy and should not really be taken. Energy drinks don't do as much as people like to believe they do.
That dosage of Vitamin B6 and B12 isn't actually unhealthy. These vitamins are what actually help your body produce energy. Also, a high dosage of Vitamin C isn't really unhealthy either.
What matters is whether the vitamin is water soluble or fat soluble. Water soluble vitamins are dissolved and removed from the body through sweat and urination. Fat soluble vitamins aren't and can lead to vitamin poisoning.
Again, this drink isn't actually unhealthy. As a matter a fact, it's basically the same as that 5-hour energy drink.
I had no idea what Guarana was, so I looked it up.
Sounds like it would be healthy-ish in the seed/plant form but completely unhealthy in the processed form...
Wikipedia:
Guarana is used in sweetened or carbonated soft drinks and energy shots, an ingredient of herbal tea or contained in capsules. Generally, while South America obtains most of its caffeine from guarana,[9] many other Western countries are beginning to witness use of guarana in various energy and superfruit products.[10]

Beverages

Brazil, which consumes the third-most amount of soft drinks in the world,[11] produces several brands of soft drink from guarana extract. Exceeding Brazilian sales of cola drinks,[12] guarana-containing beverages may cause jitters associated with drinking coffee, a perception that could be a placebo effect or result from another substance.[9]

Cognitive effects
Because guaranine is chemically equivalent to caffeine, guaraná is of interest for its potential effects on cognition. In rats, guaraná increased memory retention and physical endurance when compared with a placebo.[13]
A 2007 human pilot study[14] assessed acute behavioral effects to four doses (37.5 mg, 75 mg, 150 mg and 300 mg) of guaraná extract. Memory, alertness and mood were increased by the two lower doses, confirming previous results of cognitive improvement following 75 mg guaraná. These studies have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration or any similar government agencies, and do not imply medical or regulatory approval for use of guaraná to enhance cognition.
Other uses and side-effects
In the United States, guarana holds a GRAS-status, i.e. generally recognized as safe.[15]
Preliminary research has shown guarana may have metabolic effects. One study showed an average 11.2 pound weight loss in a group taking a mixture of yerba mate, guarana, and damiana, compared to an average 1 pound loss in a placebo group after 45 days.[16] Although inconclusive about specific effects due only to guarana, this study differs from another showing no effect on body weight of a formula containing guarana.[17]
Guarana extract reduced aggregation of rabbit platelets by up to 37% below control values and decreased platelet thromboxane formation from arachidonic acid by 78% below control values.[18] It is not known if such platelet action clinically reduces the risk of heart attack or ischemic stroke.[19]
Other laboratory studies showed antioxidant, antibacterial, and fat cell reduction (when combined with conjugated linoleic acid) from chronic intake of guarana.[20]
From anecdotal evidence of excessive consumption of energy drinks, guarana may contribute (alone or in combination with caffeine and taurine) to onset of seizures.[21]

Discuss this novelty.
Why don't people just eat guarana.

Mass doses of anything can cause serious problems with anything.. Enough said -.-
I thought it was liver?
One of those ones anyway. Probably was kidney.
And, yeah, synthetic vs. natural, it's still bad for you to get too much.
Your body can deal with so much, peeing it out and so forth, but there is a limit before the shit hits the fan, so to speak.
