Ok, So i consider my self pretty tech savvy but this confuzzles the shit out of me. Right now my computers running a core 2 quad at 2.7 GHz with a Radeon HD 6950 doing the graphics. My monitor is a samsung XL2370. Its a great monitor and all but when connected to my computer through HDMI its puts black bars on the edges of the screen. This pisses me off because If i want it to really be fullscreen then i need to switch my DVI cable when i want to change between my 360 and my Computer. I dont have a new 360 so i don't have the HDMI out on that which is why i use the dvi for my 360. I have tried seeing if the aspect ratio on the monitor is all screwed up, but it is at 16:9 and, everythings in working order at 1080p. Does anyone know why this is?

Not even Death will save you from Diablo Bunny's Cuteness!
I got a 22" Samsung monitor (not 1080p). One thing i notice here is that the aspect ratio isn't 16:9 but 16:10. Maybe that causes the issues. Just a thought (i'm no pro or anything).
I doubt its "fucked"
UPDATE:
Resolved to an extent. Now the black bars are barely there. but on the left and right they are still there.
Talk to Ender, I hear he just had his removed.
