However i do agree with you about buying the system right away and how it's absolutely idiotic, but i do not agree with your assesement on them being able to afford to charge 600$ because the price of the 360 turned people off of the 360 and the extra cost for the hardrive( yes i know the launch games did too) but 600 for the 20 gb and 700 for the 60 gb is gonna turn away lots of people. The only launch game that I see for ps3 right now that grabs me is Assasin's creed and there was one other one but I forgot the name.
I agree as well. But considering cost, if I was to get any release console, it would have to be Wii, because it's affordable and has the most anticipated titles coming out for it.

Yes Microsoft releases a lot of things with bugs and hardware problems but that one golden jewel that they manage to release usually stays with us for a long time. I agree that Sony has many more good games than Microsoft, but most of them aren't original(same goes with microsoft though). I would have to say that both Sony and Microsoft have some gems but Nintendo has some of the best gems out there today. Most of them originated from the N64 or SNES and this is the part where I give Nintendo credit.

I give props for Nintendo for being the starter of it all. You have to admit that basically every great game today is based on the games that Nintendo made. Although Nintendo is kind of going down because of Microsoft and Sony, I have a feeling that when the battle has died down between those two, Nintendo will come back with another great system.
Actually, considering the release of the DS, Nintendo is climbing to the top past Sony, since they were defeated in the handheld battle, in sales. But with the release of this Wii, it's going to attract a lot of old and new gamers, considering it's new features (and free online play. Take that, Microsoft!), because you can download old games and play them on your Wii, and they are stored online, and it is connected to the internet 24/7 (which makes the hard drive feature unnecessary). Sony would do better, but the production cost of the PS3 is killing them, because their hardware is far too powerful (no Xbox 360 is a piece of shit in terms of performance, in comparison to the PS3, so stop saying that Xbox 360 is more powerful). If they waited a little longer and introduced the hardware before the console releases, the price to manufacture the hardware would go down, and Sony wouldn't be in such a shithole.
the only reason ill continue to buy xbox systems is LIVE. live is a great experience, and ps2/3 has and will never compare to the live service that xbox offers. single player gaming can only take you so far. thats why i bought my 360.
btw, got it for alot cheaper off my mate. i waited a solid 8 months before buying mine, and even then second hand. sweet. got it for about 250 less than they are still selling for. and i got more bang for my buck too.
ps3 has the most potential with all that disc space to make an immence game, when gt5 comes out, i plan on getting ps3, for now im glad with halo 3, bioshock, gears of war, mass effect, assasins creed and gt4. ps3 doesnt stand a chance at the moment.

Like, the size of PS3's harddrive you mean? Cause isn't most of the date of any game stored on the disc, while the space on your PS3 would be used for storing saved games, music, and movies?

SIGH, blue ray discs more than double dvd's space...
Diablo needs to stay on pc and force gamers if they really call themselves gamers to come out of their little console bubble and get involved in pc gaming. Though allowing diablo 3 to hit consoles would be an immense profit from all the dumb dumbs who like to buy multiplayer rpgs with out dated game info to play with themselves instead of getting up in morning and going to burger king or w/e they work. =P
