I must ask Daniel, do you have any talent when it comes to using Photoshop? If so, I could use some lessons.
Before I start drawing, I want to see more of what people want.
But yes, I am pretty good at PS, however, if you want to draw in Photoshop, I would recommend getting a Wacom Intuos3 Tablet. Any size will do. Or if you have enough money, you can invest in the Cintiq 21UX; a Tablet Moniter which you can draw directly on screen.

"You cannot fight fire with fire, but you can make one hell of a glow." - Michael Xavier Hyde (December 1994)
The problem with promising all this great stuff is that there is a very large chance that some of it won't make it in. Better financed and more experienced developers have made promises they couldn't keep.
Explain to me how they work. I have a good idea on how it works, but how do you use it personally?
That is a good question, Alex. I have no idea how they work, I just use them. But when you touch the stylus 'nib' to the tablet, there is a connection between the internal wires (running vertical and horizontal) in the tablet and with a pixel or a group of pixels on the moniter. It's a very complex piece of equipment.
Here is a technical explanation from Wikipedia:
"Passive tablets, most notably those by Wacom, make use of electromagnetic induction technology, where the horizontal and vertical wires of the tablet operate as both transmitting and receiving coils (as opposed to the wires of the RAND Tablet which only transmit). The tablet generates an electromagnetic signal, which is received by the LC circuit in the pen. The wires in the tablet then change to a receiving mode and read the signal generated by the pen. Modern arrangements also provide pressure sensitivity and one or more switches (similar to the buttons on a mouse), with the electronics for this information present in the pen itself, not the tablet. On older tablets, changing the pressure on the pen nub or pressing a switch changed the properties of the LC circuit, affecting the signal generated by the pen, which modern ones often encode a digital data stream onto the signal. By using electromagnetic signals, the tablet is able to sense the stylus position without the stylus having to even touch the surface, and powering the pen with this signal means that devices used with the tablet never need batteries."
I use it for doing some intricate pieces of work. One very early piece of work was the picture I posted earlier about the guys shoe. I have done many others but they correlate with my current career. The tablet really helps dish out ideas without wasting paper work and the CTRL+Z option really helps.

I never promised anything in this thread, I have just explained my dream. Most of the things that I have stated are going to make it into the game, but there have been a plethora of subjects I had to discard because it wasn't possible. With the technology that will be available in the future will make for better, faster games. But as far as developers today, if they can't do it in the shortest amount of time, they give up, or if they don't have enough resources, they give up. I'm not a quitter. A great example of the changing industry is TimeShift; the game wasn't up to par, so the publisher (Vivendi) decided to give the developers more time and money to make the game the way it was intended to be. Sometimes people have to take risks, the games industry is becoming more of a gamble.

This can and will be misconstrued as a promise. There is a reason why developers don't talk about games before they are nearing completion yet alone before they are started. Somethings just don't work. You won't find the hundreds of millions of dollars you need to do these things. That I will gaurantee you.
Now let's get back on topic here. But I know you guys have your doubts, but trust me when I say that Xavier will be an experience unlike any other game. I must agree that Blizzard does a great job of melding storyline, eye-catching graphics, great/addicting/new gameplay all into one piece of classic software. It's really quite amazing. They know what they are doing and same goes for me, I learn from the best.

I don't know who any of the characters you listed are. Except Isabel and Michael ofcourse.
The Humonculi sound the most interesting and important.
Maybe you should draw a "Generic Bad Guy" that youll face in the game.
Or more updated/Different pictures of Isabel and Michael.
You refer to acid as his real name and not me?! unnacceptable.
Stealthy, I DEMAND that you refer to me as Nick from this point on.
Or Linda.

Haha, I lawled when you said Linda. But yes, I think most of you are interested in the Homunculi. And I've already showed you the 'generic bad guy', Nick.
I shall do a quick sketch tonight or tomorrow at work.

Well there is my first fan art. I have it saved on my computer for all eternity (at least until my hard drive goes out). That is friggin' hilarious though. Kudos and thank you very much, Nick.

Yes I do/did use the Intuos3 9x12. I might just put my money into the Cintiq 21UX for myself. We are getting a bunch of them in the next week at work.

But I was bored.
Siaynoq's Playthroughs
I didn't think anyone would like it that much.
Not to brag but, stuff like this is the most advanced/artistic stuff I can do.
cartoons.
Seriously.
But I did draw alot of comics with Block and Circle when I was a kid. So it has a good meaning.
And I thought its time for them to see the interweb.
But tell me to draw like, something real. I can't. I'll stick with the simple stuff and my crude random thoughts of humor.
Oh well, thanks for the praise XD
