My oppinion: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Best game on all systems of that generation. PS1, Sega Saturn, and N64.
Not sure I agree with that. Metal Gear Solid on PS1 was awesome. Psycho Mantis was an exceptional boss character. Bloody game scans your memory card and junk to check out your play styles and makes mantis counter your moves and stuff.
OOT was good, best Zelda game up to that point, kinda went down hill with Wind Walker, but Twilight Princess brought it back up, only to have it get stung again with Phantom Hourglass. Why do they keep taking away my mature older link and replacing him with this little 7 year old boy from a saturday morning cartoon. A reject disney saturday morning cartoon. And that's as low as saturday morning cartoons go.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
i think perfect dark surpassed goldenye, it had computer ai... who dosent remember running though the tunnels and getting chopped by a choppersim. and the vegefulsims that come for you and only you once you kill them. the singleplayer story mode was pretty friggen awsome too

I remember Perfect Dark, because I still play it to this day. It is actual a great game with all the AIs, especially when it is like 10 against 1.
The game I remember playing on the 64 would have to be DK64. That was a great game overall, and I still can not beat it to this day.

Oh my god, Gex ! I loved that game so much
Got stuck on the part with all the fairy tale stuff tho... Damn beanstalk always handed my ass to me, or whatever it was :(. I always remember it had something to do with the beanstalk tho.
Loved the Zelda series too, damn... now I'm gonna try to dig out my 64.

No poll needed. Ocarina of Time.
Ocarnia is solid, though, no doubt about that. Gorons... So cute...

Phantom Hourglass was a really good game.
But for he N64 or any system in my opinion, Ocarina of Time owns me.
But yea, the other stuff was pretty good. And the fight mechanics were pretty good.
Still, Ocarina of Time is the best game of it's generation. PERIOD! The great LinkX has spoken, thus it is so.
Also, you have to give Wind Waker SOME credit, as Twilight Princess runs off the same engin as Wind Waker, though heavily modified...

Yes, Oddjob was fricking sweet. His metal Bowler hat beat all.
