You probably noticed a lot of pictures of the official Diablo 3 guide all over the internet and the forums lately. We went through absolutely everything available to us and spent an awful lot of time transcribing every blurry picture out there to give you an awesome list of data.
However, the guide is huge and there is no way we could share it all. You really should pick up the strategy guide yourself to get all the amazing information that's inside. There is also a Limited Edition version that comes with a nice Diablo III bookmark as well as a digital version (not a .pdf) of the guide!
And now, it's time for a massive dose of fresh Diablo 3 data!
Diablo III - Achievements, Item Affixes, Boss Statistics, Legendary Item Information, Set Items, and Monster Affixes
We have been working for hours attempting to round up all the information out there. We had massive help from Overneathe, Doomscream, Daemaro, snowhammer, and Longview from mmoc. getting this information setup for you all. If you couldn't guess this information IS A SPOILER. We have achievements you may not have seen. We also have Boss statistics on each of the act bosses! You have been warned.
thanks a lot for the hard work bringing the guide to this site/forum!!
for me - i will only take a look at the item-affixes and the monster traits, these infos are really neccesary to play diablo like a boss ;-)
the other infos are too great spoilers and decrease the game-fun! i dont wanne know all bosses or legendaries... i want to still have the "aaaaah nice, reminds me of d2"-effect.
Somebody with the guide should really make a pdf out of it. It's really easy to do if you have a scanner.
It's several hundred pages. Easy but EXTREMELY time consuming. Either way, we have most of the more important info, and some people are already getting their copies in today, so hopefully someone can fill in the missing pages that were too blurry/unreadable from yesterday.
yeah printed guides as a legitimate source of info are a scam at this point. but, some people like to collect those kinds of things.
Pretty much this. The internet has changed dramatically since the days of the SNES, especially with the advent of wikis. Printed game guides are a dinosaur at this point.

So are books though when compared to digital media. The best part about printed media is and always will be, it's more comfortable for bathroom reading.

Eh... not really the same case. And FYI, most women don't appreciate bathroom reading. =P
I see it more as a collectible than an undying valid source of information. It'll go nicely with my CE and I got the hardcover limited edition for 26$CAN shipped off amazon.ca which is a fair deal imo.
