I made this build earlier this week and just posted it on the Beta Key Build Contest but I thought I'd share it here since no one is gonna read it over there lol
Barbarian Weapon Throw Fury Dump
So the build that I've created revolves around generating a ton of Fury using Cleave(Reaping Swing) and damage output by using very little of the generated Fury; Overpower(Killing Spree) and Revenge(Best Served Cold) both with increased crit % to help Overpower reduce cooldown so it can be used for DPS.
Battle Rage(Into the Fray [increase fury generation]) and Wrath of the Berserker(Thrive on Chaos[Fury increases time duration]) are also included to further increase crit % to help Overpower.
Passives include Ruthless for 5% extra crit, Weapons Master (intended for use with mace/axe for 10% extra crit) and Animosity for increased Fury generation and increased Fury cap (intended for use with Weapon Throw)
All the Fury generated in this build is put towards Weapon Throw(Dread Bomb) which drains all the Fury in one shot to deal massive AoE damage.
So this build is for PvE only and for killing lots of mobs at once, I don't think it'll stand well in a boss fight since its mostly AoE damage though. What do you guys think? All the skills seem to link together fairly well with all the bonuses benefiting one or two other skills.
Battle Rage only increases crit by 3%... Kinda lack luster if you ask me! I know the 15% is nice but faster fury gen will be better imo. Plus if you change one of your passives to Berserker Rage you get an extra 25% dmg while at max fury (which is when you should be using the bomb anyways) which just makes sense!

i like yours better. you'll be throwing the bomb way more often and do crazy damage. shweeeet. this could be really fun to test in nm/hell. too bad dreadbomb isnt available until 55 -_-. id change the rune on overpower to momentum because if your surrounded you can get like 100 fury instantly from it

Hmm, removing Wrath of the Berserker for Furious Charge might be a good idea. The increased dodge might be a detriment for Revenge but then again, I'm not too sure I want to get hit lol. The extra 10% crit and IAS might help generate enough Fury using Cleave in the middle of combat to offset Furious charge. We probably won't know till we get in game and try it out.
But I still think that Battle Rage(Into the Fray) will have a higher Fury output than War Cry(Charge) only because of the 30 second cooldown on War Cry. Battle Rage's Fury is generated on chance per crit and since the build is built around high crit/high Fury generation/AoE I would think that overtime Battle Rage would be optimal when fighting off waves of mobs.
I would keep Animosity because it increases the max damage of Weapon Throw with "Dread Bomb" since it increases your max rage by 20. I would lose Weapons Master instead.
at this point we have a good build idea and these differences is merely preference. yours is good i admit but im also content with mine. :P. sweet build idea tho right?

Using Ancient Spear deviates too far away from the "Fury Dump" build though. Its only single target DPS and has a fairly long cooldown. Its more of a PvP or single target Skill.
Having No Escape is a pretty good idea, I seemed to have overlooked that one. Although I'd opt to remove Weapons Master than Animosity though. Animosity gives an extra 20 Fury which in turn becomes 60% extra damage when coupled with Weapon Throw(Dread Bomb), so with the two passives you gain 70% extra damage on top of the regular amount of Fury x 3%.

Yeah the OP's idea is good. I think even swapping a shout for Ignore Pain would be a good move.

yea i also think depending on how viable we want the build to be in later difficulties would also determine which skills/passives we take. idk if it would be possible to make this build inferno-capable. but who knows.

If you take No Escape the cooldown of Ancient Spear is reset on a critical hit and since this seems to be a crit build that could end up being quite often.

I guess thats true but by taking No Escape you lose out on Weapons Master which I figured would be used with an axe/mace for the 10% extra crit. My initial idea was to be able to have high enough crit so that Overpower could be spammed for DPS along with Cleave to generate Fury. Once the Fury is generated, dump it using Weapon Throw.
Wrath of the Berserker(Thrive on Chaos) is what I have in place of your Ancient Spear which I thought would be a good choice because with the constant Fury generation you would only have to ever cast it once and gain another 10% crit and 25% IAS.
I like Furious Charge better than War Cry. It generates more Fury per second (assuming you hit someone) and provides a lot of utility. (30 second CD on War Cry makes it tough to rely on for every fight)
I also like Momentum on Overpower better. The 12 Fury per mob gained outweighs the 10% increased chance at 15 rage.

And like most have said, personal preference and situation will be a huge contributor to your build.
You say that but than you switch WC for Wrath? It has a huge cooldown and costs you fury (which is counter productive)... Yes Berserker Rage works on all skills. I think you'll be fighting a new mob every 10-20 seconds not every second so a 30 second CD isn't that bad

I guess that will be situational then, if you're going around attacking mobs continuously with a build like this that's based around crit/Fury generation then Wrath of the Berserker(Thrive on Chaos) should be up for quite a while because of the continuous Fury generation. Although the CD of WotB is 2 minutes, if you can fight your way through mobs without pausing you should technically only have to cast it once.
Remember Battle Rage has a chance to give you rage on crit. Not every crit.
Thats why you also want to stack crit so that when you AoE you get the maximum number of chances of getting that 15 additional Fury. If you look at my original build, every single skill there has some synergistic properties with 1 or 2 other skills to maximize the chances of crit and Fury generation.

into the fray giving 15 fury per crit is too good to pass up esp if your stacking crit for a build that wants as much fury as possible.
yea. good point. that means critical hits return 29 fury. and you should have ancient spear since it goes with that passive.
so it should look like this: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/barbarian#bUSeVk!ZYf!ZYZbcZ

2 shouts to me would ruin the fun of this build unless they really did cause me to gain enough rage so I was spamming Weapon Throw.

Does Berserker Rage work on Weapon Throw.
