A ptr starter build with what I had in imported stash already, turned out to be quite impressive after finding the chakram sword.
I know the hybrid seems very popular in PTR atm but I believe this version has a small twist, which I'm trying to explain in the build and actually making use of it as seen on boss fight part of the video.
It is a fun, fresh enduring and rewarding build.
And it has a potential to shine amongst all the new stuff & upgrades.
With an average weapon and unoptimized enchanting I was easily able to clear GR 69 so far, and I'm quite sure this build can go beyond mid 70s with proper stats.
Edit: This build is history now. S2 changed from affecting "all your" damage to "your all" damage. This excludes pets and damage output has drastically dropped which renders all this experience as useless..

So now the damage increase is only for abilities cast by yourself and not sentries?
Oh well, back to standard S6 theorycrafting. Tbh, i expected something like this because hybrid builds (at least in Blizzard's eyes) shouldn't be definitely better than 6pieces builds.
Too bad that the spec is now not even viable, i wouldn't mind it as an option, since GR competition and ladder climbing doesn't affect me at all.

Here's the build I'm digging atm.

Patch 2.4 S4/M4 Physical impale/chakram build

A few small tweaks;
-replaced ambush with custom engineering
-replaced pain enhancer with iceblink (will try stricken as soon as I upgrade it to a sensible level)
I just cleared a GR70 full of anarchs, winged assassins, exarchs, some DR packs and a lot of lightning/poison shit going around.
Wish I had captured all from start to show you how amazingly tough this build feels.
No back pedalling, no skipping, just enduring and blowing stuff!
Here's a video showing the last few minutes;

Why Iceblink? The slow should be covered by the Polar Station - the 10% crit is noce but stuff like Zei/Enforcer should be better i suppose.
Until you go with Serpentine and change Sentry rune to the Shield one for more toughness.
I just wanted to try iceblink..
The only cold skill which can trigger it is the polar station. and you are right, with 60% chc iceblink chc bonus is not a big one.
Enforcer is still defective when MR6 is not activated.
Botp is bad because the elite encounters are inconsistent and on this particular GR70 there weren't that many.
Stricken might be good but as I said I need to level it up.
Serpentine would not benefit from physical element, and since cube is reserved for RoRG I can't use CoE either.
Besides it wouldn't be able to cover as much area and as fast as razor disc.
Element is decided by impale rune. And impact is essential to this build because of Strongarm synergy and stunlock ability..
