as many, this too is my first guide, so dont flame me too bad lol. this is a guide that i have and am still using, those of you who have played with me will agree that SICK_Sorceress is pretty GG. in this guide you will be given the knowledge of what skills, equipment, and what your merc should use. thanks for your time, and enjoy the guide!!
Skills:
for skills its very simple if you want a very efficient and powerful lightning and chain lighting. the skills to max are: Lightning Bolt, Lightning, Chain Lightning, and Light mastery.
you should put in one point into these skills: telekinesis, teleport, warmth, and static field. all other points you may have go to nova (unless you want to put one point into frost armor).
Equipment:
the equipment varies from guide to guide, some looking for more damage, others for survival. because we want to survive if ever we teleport right into a mass of demons, we'll go for survival. this equipment is needed, so if you are not very rich or cant afford any of this you should not attempt.
Griffons Eye (griffons is very desirable because of fcr and added light dmg.)
maras
dusk or ap coh
2xSOJ's
3/20 light dmg eschutas
34-35 fcr spirit monarch
mage fists
sandstorm treks
Sorc torch
anni
now i know what most of you are thinking, "I cant afford all this!!" i would like to direct you now to the title of this thread. i could afford this about a month or two ago, so surely with some effort you can too. this equip is what my sorc uses, and its come very well for her.
Stats:
probably the easiest said and hardest to obey in this or any other guide:
only bare minimum into str, rest into vitality. i know its hard, but this is important, because then you'll end up with more str than you need and have taken away to those precious life points you can get.
all together, after you get all your equip on and other stuff, you should have 156 str for that monarch spirit, no more. i recommend you have someone bug rush you and you chaos like crazy, or maybe you can get an uber level going.
Mercenary Gear:
for your mercenary, you want the best, because he will be your tank. while you teleport around and blast demons with your lightning, you need something to keep them at a safe distance, and if your merc dies you have a big problem. here are the recommended items to equip your tank with:
eth infinity (colossus voulge is suggested, but it can be any polearm with high dmg)
eth bugged fort
andariels visage helm
Strategy:
very simple. teleport around, and blast crowds of demons with lightning. for bosses you want to hotkey your static field to lower their life, then blast them with lightning. for weaker and wide spread enemies you can just use chain lightning, but it sucks up more mana.
for nihl you want to teleport somewhere safe around his square, and spam lightning at him. he should go down within 2-7 hits, and it stuns him.
i use this sorc for everything, from keying to rushing. (godly rushes, just ask thas or ferret) i use her for clearing anything, though sometimes i have trouble in chaos when iron maiden pwns my merc.
Eth bugged Fort tip:
many dont know how to get a eth bugged fort, so here is a miniguide to making one
find a good eth armor, such as a dusk, great hauberk, or other such armors. it must not have any sockets. once attained, toss into a cube with a tal, thul, and perfect topaz. what you get is a very high def 4 soc armor. then you make fort as if it were a normal armor.
i know that many cant afford this guide, but it is intended mostly for the intended audience who are not poor.

I voted its ok but you can do better. Any item that you admit is bugged in my book is bad mhmmmkaay.
