Yeah I know, especially since not one monster has even come remotely close to threatening me. Duriel died in under 30 seconds, helplessly fighting my Bone Walls (and slowly as well, due to Decrepify). I used 5 Mana Potions and didn't even move from my place.
Vegas, I wouldn't really like that build, since it isn't very specific. Or did you mean 60 for the poison spells, then the remaining 50 into summons?
Occasionally I'll mix it up and try new stuff, but the best luck I've had in taking down forces in Diablo with the necromancer is to dump almost everything into the skeletons creating an unstoppable army and add only scant points to a few curses, they basically bum rush Duriel, Mephisto, and Baal and lock them up so badly they can't launch an attack.
Only Diablo is able to take out my army with his fire, that is why I throw a few extra points into poison nova when I run on that theme. I just make sure I have my endurance up to run around his fire attacks and slowly poison him to death. That and the final demons just before you go to take out Baal also are a rough run, I might need to go and raise new skeletons somewhere else once or twice to get them all.
I know it's a narrow play, but I get to be lazy, I find humor in searching for treasure while my army is doing all the work. Occasionally when a monster is able to hit my character, I get a certain pleasure of making it's sorry dead ass my biaaaatch. :cool:

I tried searching the forums but there isn't really much info on this... could anyone tell me what the abilities and stats are in the bonemancer build and why you take them?

PVP or PVM?
I think bonemancers damage output is too weak to be good for PVM, though it's still playable.
I would max out bone spear and synergies for maximum damage but you will be a little weak. Might want to get a golem or revive if you play PVM, else bone armor or some curses might do the job for pvp with lots of points in vita.
I played a bonemancer a year back. I was rich back then, had nigma, hoto, a nice necro circlet, etc. My boner did pretty good in hell, had I think ~3800 spear and ~3300 spirit. The boner can single in hell but take very long with 8 players.
One thing I like the boner is, I invested one pt into revive (spent 6 pts to get there i know), but revive was totally fun, i was able to revive 12 Willowwisp (black soul that shoots lightening). I'd teleport which gathers them with me, then they quickly spread out and shoots 12 lightening at once. It looks like portable assasin trap and it's a great killer combo for enemies that had low light resist.
I'd prefer bone wall cuz it looks less messy, in my opinion.
Just wanna say that with a full gear ( enigma hoto shako spirit shield arach etc ) my clay glem which has 1 point in it, 1 point in mastery, and 1 point in summon resist, has more than 8k life, and can tank even the ubers for 5 seconds. He can survive Hell, he can tank everything.
