The time has come, my children, you are free, awake from your dormancy, let those who oppose you witness your might. End their petty skirmishes, for they will no longer use my power as a means to tip the scales. They shall reap what they have sewn, for their reign is merely a fabrication. Stir from your great slumber, reclaim our power from those who would seek to guide you, reclaim our rule from those who would wish to oppress you. Let none resist, for their reckoning has finally arrived."

Synopsis: The Archangel Inarius, who had fallen into deep madness during his imprisonment in Hell, has broken free, and is now bent on seizing control over sanctuary. Though at first, he could not be swayed into being anything more that an idol figure meant to be worshiped, he now seeks to horde the endless powers of the nephalem and to undo the workings of both angels and demons alike. However, Inarius is not alone in his ravings, the great demoness Lilith has sensed his presence, and while allied with the forces of hell, seeks to stop Inarius, as well as any mortal heroes in her path, before she and her ilk are annihilated.
Expansion Acts summery:
Act I: Players are thrust into the frozen wastes of Xiansai, where legions of demons do battle against the nephalem and any surviving humans(players). The heroes will encounter climatic battles against both the demons, and the nephalem under the control of Inarius. Their continued efforts will take them into the heart of the Dreadlands, here players will encounter (after much slaughtering) Lilith, the Act I boss, an adept in poison magics. Once defeated, players are free to continue on to Act II.
Act II: Our heroes will find themselves exploring the remnants of Mount Arreat, where countless nephalem have gathered, and are preparing to commence an assault on the realms of Heaven and Hell. In addition, players will also battle against the last remaining demonic presence in Sanctuary, Gulag, an oddment of Baal's original attack on Mount Arreat. It is here that our heroes realize Inarius has created another Worldstone, one to warp not only his powers on sanctuary, but other realms as well. Once players have reached the final stages of this Act, they will discover Auriel(An archangel opposed to Inarius) and Inarius locked in combat. Auriel is lost in the battle, but due to her sacrifice, the heroes are able to defeat Inarius, and reverse his control over sanctuary.
Two new classes:
Cleric: The Cleric is a holy figure, whose powers have been drawn from devotion towards the light. They are pillars of preservation, and come equipped with an arsenal of powerful protection spells as well a few transformation'esk' abilities.
Core abilities:
- Auras
- Holy Magic
- Angelic Transformations
Illusionist: Crafty by nature and deceitful by trade, the cunning Illusionists are masters of trickery, using such skills as jinxes, dexterity, and the clever use of traps to fool their enemies and gain an advantage in battle.
Core abilities:
- Jinxes(Slows, debuffs, and drains)
- Weapon Specialization(Comabt speed)
- Traps
