I just want to share my latest pc build. It will be completed next week. I just want to see if anyone have any other suggestions or think this is okey for diablo 3.
What I have right now:
Case: Fractal design core 2500
Motherboard: Asus Z97-P
Processor: Intel i5 4460 3.2Ghz
Graphic-card: Gtx 285 1GB
Ram: 8GB, 2 x 4GB Hyper Fury Beast 1600Mhz
PSU: EVGA 500W
Harddrive: 1TB Hatachi 7200rpm (from 2008)
OS: Windows 10 Pro
This do run diablo pretty well on high settings. I have vsync on and almost never drop frames. But i just think the graphic card runs a bit hot and is very power consuming.
What I plan to change:
Graphic-card: GTX 285 1GB to Gigabyte GTX 950 OC 2GB (the smaller one with one fan) Got it on sale!
Cheap? No i don´t want to spend 180-200+ dollar on an 500GB SSD ,cuz thats what they cost here in Norway .. I dont really use much storage anyways. have like 890Gb free out of my 930GB right now so.
Go with a Samsung SSD. The expensive models are incredible but an EVO 250GB will also make you a happy camper. 500GB is a solid recommendation if you can swing it.
Don't be surprised if you find yourself looking into CPU cooling systems in the near future.
Edit: I see you already have an SSD. Good luck with your build.

I think the pc is going to run very well. And the i5 4460 with GTX 950 seems like a perfect fit.
what are your thoughts guys?
Yup, it should run perfectly with the upgrades you making but;
you better invest in an SSD(solid state drive) to improve the loading time of you OS and applications substantially.

Well I did get an 240GB SSD from HyperX if you read , and that's what i wanted
I should have quoted my answers lol

This setup is more than enough for Diablo for sure
This setup is more than likely recycled now after 5 years. Why did you necro this?
