To anyone else who has played the beta, or even if you haven't. From what you've seen or played, what do you think so far? Do you think it will be better than Simcity 4?
I have played the beta and I actually think it's pretty fun. I've sunk many many hours into Simcity 4 and I think they've done a good job so far. Ofcourse it's too early to tell whether one is better than the other but the new Simcity seems to be more friendly and more of a hand holder in relation to getting started. But I'm not going to let that hinder it's quality.
I mean SC4 had tutorials but it's still pretty daunting for a newcomer starting a city and having alerts thrown at them every minute :P.
I can't wait for it to come out!

Bashiok - Blizzard Representative - 08/01/2011 -"So how many skill combinations are there now? Well taking into account 6 active skills, all the rune combinations, and 3 passives we currently expect each class to have roughly 2,285,814,795,264 different build combinations."
"Hey, I thought you'd like the witty irony of grub-on-glowie violence!"
No doubt you've heard of its shaky release, don't worry all those problems are gone now. The game is actually a lot of fun. It has a tutorial at the start which shows you some of the cool features the game has.
Definitely worth a buy.
