"Cosmetic items will have an effect to the mentality behind the player"
-huh? you mean because players can go "look at my shiny wings i bought with real money! im so kewl!". This isn't effecting anyone's mentality that isn't 12 years old. 99.9% of people will not care about cosmetic MTX, which is why i mentioned XP because that would be the only way people would or should actually care. What the company ultimately chooses to do with their money is up to them but at least some of it is guaranteed to go into future sequels and/or improvements. That's how all video game company's work.
but blizzard said MTX will only be for cosmetic items. Which have zero effect on actual gameplay. if they randomly add XP-boosts or items for money THEN people would rage. That's something that only belongs in phone games. (or no where).
as for you ironically pointing out: "microtransaction will speed up the process of content coming out faster, and its a good way to support the games development and give us a foundation for DLCs or Expansions"
>this is an extremely good argument for cosmetic MTX. and your rebuttal is literally, "no! they probably won't! its sh**!" . didn't put much thought into this part of your thread, did you?
