Adventure mode was one of the best things to happen to Diablo 3 taking it away for your silly reason doesn't make any sense. Had they required you to complete the campaign first all that would happen would be that those speed leveling up to 70 would face roll the campaign on normal mode in like less than an hour and move on to the optimal power leveling in adventure mode after that. Probably would have only added 20-30 min tops to their overall time.
There is nothing stopping you from re-running the campaign again and again to your hearts content.
I'm guessing that legendary items picked up in the past won't be available as a transmog option but any information on legendary items that are currently in your inventory? With identifying them as being the requirement for unlocking the transmog it makes me think that they won't be available?
