FIRSTLY: Defining your hair, eyes and general look as absolutely NOTHING to do with a game genre, WHATSOEVER. ITs a relative to the respective game. RPGS as we now it prolly has the longest history in gaming (except for strategy). RPGS originated from the idea of paper RPGS, which for some odd reason is still being plaied today. I remember back in the early 80's all this dungeon crawling paper rpgs used to be big. THey arent anymore, but they are still around. Just do a bit of researching and LEARN your history mate.

Diablo had that grim dark feeling to it and there was NO JR TOlkien viking mythology raped bare fantasy CRAP included. Thats why we all got addicted to it. Well that and the excellent gameplay and story line. Yes, d2 was a damn nice and original rpg. And thus far all the hack n slash rpgs that I have seen..in fact all third person rpgs so far that I have seen are just blatant copies of D2. I tried playing titan quest..and guess what!?!? THose thiefing brain dead spineless crap faced buttwhipes simply stole d2, slapped a new name on it and claimed it to be "the most original rpg yet!" WTF?@? I ask you d2 fans, why aint those developeres linched yet!? Thats blasphomy in my eyes. But anyways, to hell with all that, the point remains d3 and what it may be about ect ect ect.
