Quote fromNotice the part where he said formal support for PvP?! Wow. Awesome.
They never said there wouldn't be PVP in D3. They just said the focus would on co-op. Man everyone has their ass cheeks in a pinch about the PvP deal. Honestly I think a lot of it has to do with greifers wanting to make sure they can kill people at portals.

Me too, but they won randomly. They should have won on the merits of their work, not on a random drawing that was supposed to be a contest. They should have won on that great post. Others should have won on their great posts. Instead others who just registered with 1-2 posts won with pitiful contributions.

You are underestimating Blizzard's resources.

Grats on this site doing a mediocre job. I was a big fan of this site. Calling a drawing a contest is a farce. Now you're razzing the people who actually cared. The only thing this site ever had going for it was squatting on Blizzard's IP.

- Auction house accessible at any repair vendor. This would reduce downtime spent in town selling\repairing\etc.
- Mail system also accessible at any repair vendor.
- Include random mailboxes, couriers, and vendors in the wilderness, but not in dungeons.
- Allow direct trading with any player in the same town no matter where in the town they are.
PvP System
- Include a designated fighting ring in town which takes two players or two teams into an instance to fight.
- Allow other players to enter the instance as observers only.
- The old hostile system was fine, however there should be something put into place that keeps other players from killing someone who has just zoned into an area. Perhaps a 30 second immunity to other players.
- Include a global bounty system on wanted posters in town. Allow players to track bounties.

also Bashoik has confirmed that they are blood spray crit decals on the barb...
"Those are actually fading crit blood sprays. When you get a crit death on a monster (that isn't an elemental crit death) it sprays the hero with blood (decals) and those then slowly fade over time. The screenshot shows them pretty much faded all the way out which gave them the appearance of scars. Maybe we can get some screenshots out that show the blood sprays a bit more effectively."

I do. Its one of the things that made Diablo great. You didn't feel like someone's errand boy. I don't want to collect vegetables for some local farmer or pick up talbuck shit. If you want an assload of quests thats what WoW is about. Diablo is about doing quality quests, not quantity.

Its a fantasy game. Everything in Diablo 2 was "nonsensical". Look at the arcane sanctuary. WTF you're in space with stars zooming by. How about the cow level. There just happen to be hundreds of cows standing there with poleaxes waiting for you to come down and meet their king.
If you play games to stand around admiring furniture instead of breaking the shit, this might not be the game for you.

Jay Wilson has already explained it. Jesus christ do you read anything other than your own posts? The game started out dark and they revised it several times. Jay has explained exactly why and it makes sense.
