I did not even notice. Don't I feel dumb. Although that still doesn't let me know on my seasonal characters if I have something cubed for non-seasonal, which is at the heart of the issue. There are items that I would like to cube if I don't already have them, but have no intention of using them during the season. Still, thank you for pointing this out, it is well worth the knowing.

Does anyone know of an up-to-date list of all legendary items and their orange text effects? I've looked around a bit, but I can't seem to find one.

I'm trying to build a reference spreadsheet to track what I do and don't have in my seasonal and non-seasonal cubes without having to build it manually.

Of course, if they'd add some ui element to the tooltip of legendaries indicating whether or not you have the effect in your cube, the whole thing would be pointless, but alas, they have not.

Maybe someone could here explain to me why everyone seems to be all about the 2Hs now. I found a pretty nice 2H. The tooltip said it should give me more damage than my MH/OH, but in practice it's just worse. Much worse. I generate fury faster with two weapons, I can spend it faster, - not only because I generate more per time, but the animation of Seismic Slam executes in like half the time - and I only lose a little bit of damage per attack, but I get to attack so much more often.

Don't get me wrong. I want to like using a two-handed weapon. I really, really do. My Barb is named Tryndamere, for Pony's sake! Tryndamere don't use no pansy one-handed weapons! But they're just so clunky and slow in this game. =-(

    So here's my dude.

    http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Petersen-1408/hero/158788

I made this build to get the Avalanche achievement, and I absolutely loved it. Most of the Cold runes are to take advantage of the +19% cold damage.

Basically, use WW to group up and maneuver through mobs, Avalanche big things, dump fury with SS (to cooldown Avalanche more quickly), Revenge for healing, Furious Charge for more mobility (and because I want to someday get Raekor's 4-piece and charge all the things, all the times!). Frenzy is really only there for relatively quick fury gain and for the DPS buff. I actually started using it when I had a two-hander because they take soooo long to swing.

I know this is a suboptimal build, and I'm not really looking for build advice (fun trumps efficacy for me), but how to make the most of the build I have chosen, and what I need to be looking to do with my gear, for example, should I be on the lookout for a beefy two-hander, or is DW still the way to go.

posted a message on How to fix D3 PVP in 1 Easy Patch
    Quote from Zero(pS)
As much as I'm attached to my characters, if people want some real competitive mode in D3 (and not something to just complain about balance later), I do think D3 would benefit a lot from a "Generic Hero vs Hero" mode. You choose some predefined gear, maybe two or three legendary items from a poll, preset stats, some skills with predetermined effects, and just hack away.
Similar to GW2's structured PvP (heck, anyserious competitive PvP game). There's no "I farmed 1k hours, hence I automatically win against anyone who farmed less than 800 hours" feature in those.
I was going to come in here and snarkily respond that I have a better one-step to fix PvP in this game: remove it. Then I read this, and I can agree with that. It's my biggest complaint about equipment-based sports (particularly shooting), that it's not really a test of skill because all the equipment is so disparate.

As for the "free as a bird" comment, D2 PvP being the way it was is exactly the reason there were so incredibly many password-protected games. PvP ala D1 and D2 was nothing more than a griefing mechanic.
