DISCLAIMER: This build is 100% item dependant. It is not effective without the item(s) listed in the post.
This is a build i made based around the weapon Gyrfalcon's Foote http://us.battle.net/d3/en/item/gyrfalcons-foote. The main idea behind is get skills that make you deal more damage and spam Blessed Shield. Another item that goes really well with this build is Jekangbord http://us.battle.net/d3/en/item/jekangbord this simply adds to the crazy ammount of shields that come flying out.
The Build:http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/crusader#SRQfYO!UhSZ!YYbbaY
Ability 1: Blessed Shield/Shattering Throw This will be your primary damage ability, your bread and butter, your wifu, The rune is situational but it's my preference with the Jekangbord. If you're not using the Jekangbord go with which ever rune fits your Elemental Damage on your gear. If you don't have a main elemental damage then I'd suggest Combust.
Ability 2: Judgment/Resolved Increase the damage your shields will do..pretty simple
Ability 3: Akarat's Champion/Rally This will help you to pump out more shields. The rally rune will decrease the downtime of your Damage increase spells.
Ability 4: Laws of Valor/Critical
Increased ATS, Increased CHD on activation, what's not to love.
Ability 5: Shield Glare/Divine Verdict
More increased Damage. could replace with something else if you wanted *cough* horse *cough*
Ability 6: Bombardment/Impactful Bombardment
This ability does a shit ton of damage so I tend to try to slip it into just about every build I make for crusader. It's another optional spell though.
Passives:
Hold Your Groud-More damage for your Blessed Shield
Renewal- Survivability spell could replace it with something like Lord Commander, Long Arm, or w/e you fancy
Finery-Gem all res, gain str = Dmg and more EHP pretty much the best passive Crusaders have.
Fervor-More shields = More dmg...Another passive that I think is replaceable, but I'm not sure what else you could put in there.
DO NOT GET THE PASSIVES WRATHFUL OR HEAVENLY STRENGTH. You don't use any wrath in this build and you'll be using a 1h weapon so you will just be wasting passive slots if you get either of these spells.
Well that's about all for the guide. If you have any questions you can message me in game (Chemical#1124). Also if you want to look at my profile http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Chemical-1124/hero/902866 there it is.
