Gheeds second child, son Rheed. He doesnt get along with Kadala. He offers packs, he acquired by certain means...definitely not by stealing them from your artisans. These packs are:
1) Blacksmith's chest - contains crafting materials and angry notes addressed to some bloody thief from some random unimportant and not wifeless smith. Purchasable equivalent of T10 bonus cache. Can very rarely contain Remaldini's gift.
2) Jewelry Box - contains gems of various quality, from marquise to royal quality. It also contains cursed gems and unstable fire opals. You have been warned. After opening your character becomes haunted or burned, sometimes making you lose control and run uncontrolably in fear or minor flames - the same symptoms our good friend Rheed sometimes show. Can very rarely contain Zei's blessing, a legendary consumable which instantly upgrades legendary gems' quality by 1. Useable 5 times max on a single gem (can be used more times, just not same gem to avoid cheesing).
3) Runed silk satchel - contains death's breaths, lost souls, keystones and magic scrolls, which allow you to enchant item of your choice for free (like regular enchant with same limitations). Can rarely contain dark and mysterious artefacts (items that ubers drop). The satchel has very strange smell to it... sometimes attracting various animals (like skunks or spiders) or even people trying to woo you (in most cases creepy old folk). For some reason Rheed has been hiding very often and comes out only when he notices you coming.
Price of bags should be around 50 000 000.

Lets take revenge upon blizzard. All of you play firewall WDs with mimics, spam the shit out of it, then take shield pylon. And let the battle net servers melt!
I started playing hardcore like... a month after vanilla D3 release? I didnt even had my softcore lvl 60 yet. Playing exclusively hardcore since, not having a single noobcore character. I also happen to have quite old computer - 2GB RAM - tremble in horror! I dont think that blizz wants me to play anymore, becouse hey, look at their logic: "Lets make WD pets transparent so they dont clutter screan so much. Barb whirlwinds? Nah, nobody minds those."
First, i totaly agree that we should get souls for them, its legendary after all
Second, you guys propably dont realize the main reason they do this - server traffic is just one thing, but they are preparing the game for the new ladder system. Once you start new ladder character, the last thing you wanna do is searching for days for mats for 1 item while you are supposed to be competing with others.
All crusaders, especialy those playingHC, should read this warning!
Shield Bashis bugged, for so far unknown reasons, you might get stuck when using it. Not only that you cant move, but some of your skills will be unusable as well (from skills i was using when that happened, Condemn worked, while Bombardment not), as well as Town Portal! It also seams that some passives and runes cease to work as well when this happens (my Punish - Roar wasnt causing explosions upon blocking and im not sure if Renewal healed me, becouse my hp was dropping kinda fast and if i havent had healing templar at my side, i would die).
Stop using this skill at once, it might cost you your character if you play HC, or simply cause annoyance when playing SC.
edit: it doesnt occure so rarely as you might thing, a friend told me it happened to him yesterday, i just thought it may never happen to me, and here we go. Dont be so ignorant as I was.
You can actualy earn all money you need for lvl 60 just playing HC.
That's no different than SC. Prices on HC are just 1000 times higher, both for selling and buying.
Yes, you can make a few 100k from selling leveling items. But once you hit lvl 60 you realise that even the most common set and legendary items ( like IK boots for example ) cost 20 million...
Yep, then dont start with top set and buy normal rare... thats what Hc is all about - slow progressing and enjoying the game where you still have something to look forward.
Hi, this happened to me yesterday and it was so hilarious i simply have to share it with you.
Its about how accidently pulling another elite pack saved my life.
I was cought in small corridor by angry-red elite pack of tremors with frozen/arcane/vortex. The fight was going poorly so i ran away, having no single CD ready when they stacked all freeze bombs and arcane sentries at one spot and i was about to get vortexed in it.
At that moment i accidently pulled yet another elite pack, which had waller affix. They casted a few walls in between me and the first elite group and when i got vortexed instead of landing in that blue/purple nasty surprise i just headbutted the wall, giving me eneugh time to escape and prepare.
