posted a message on Garg, dogs and Fetish help!

Here's a suggestion that I made a while back that is still viable. Tons of survivability plus pretty decent damage. Make note of the comments towards the bottom for group changes to the equipment.

posted a message on Any tips beating GR70 solo?

Based on this post I created a Zunimassa build template here: http://www.diablofans.com/builds/90217-zunimassa-template-gr70-79

As long as you have the gear this will make GR70 a piece of cake for you. If you have questions let me know.

If your damage type is cold, then the 19% cold amulet is the way to go. 1000 Int and 1% crit isn't going to sniff 19% damage boost.

posted a message on TF re-roll?
I could be wrong here, but here is my logic. % damage caps at 10%. Add 10% to your high end as your weapon currently sits and you're at 1439. Highest possible damage reroll is 1490.

So you could actually just reroll the damage and it would give you that 10% plus you keep the vitality.

I salvaged the "super shrine" gloves before they were nerfed because, without testing them, I said to myself "there's no way these work on the rift pylons."
    do they?
I don't think they do anymore. From what I have been told, within 1-2 weeks of release (when I found them) they did, but they were "fixed" to no longer function with the pylons. I haven't found another pair to test for your questions regarding swapping them out.

I avoid "trash" white mobs that don't drop loot and only kill elites and open all chests (unless, obviously, I have to kill X number of mobs or clear a dungeon.)
these mobs don't exist in D3. everything can drop your next best-in-slot legendary with perfect rolls. even the vase or the white mob.
I'm pretty sure that they do exist. I'm talking about things like scorpion packs in A3, tiny spiders in Caverns, simple skeletons all over Halls of Agony now, etc. They don't drop gold or items (at least none that I have seen, and I have killed quite a few).

Some white mobs drop loot, yes. But there are certain types that don't. I avoid going out of my way to kill those.
Drop loot, yes they do. Chance to drop loot is lowered, due to the nature of how frail and easily killed they are.
I really don't think that they do. But either way my point remains. I spend my time opening chests and killing things that have a decent drop chance. Ignore other stuff. And that's why, for me, I get better results from bounties.

I run a Tempest Rush build on my monk and I find that clearing bounties I actually get more loot than I get from rifts, even with the 100% loot buff for rifts. The 100% buff for rifts certainly closed the gap, but I still feel like bounties are better for me. My theory for why I get more for bounties is:

    1. I avoid "trash" white mobs that don't drop loot and only kill elites and open all chests (unless, obviously, I have to kill X number of mobs or clear a dungeon.)
    2. On the "clear a cave" bounties you always get a resplendent chest. And they ARE more resplendent now!
I also get a lot more XP doing bounty runs than I get from rifts, probably by a magnitude of 2 or 3 to 1.

As always, YMMV. But I thought I'd throw out a dissenting opinion based on my experience.
