1.1 can take as long as they like as long as they put in additional content, fix the imbalances (further) in the classes and with the game, and drops. PVP will be fun for those that enjoy it, but I suspect it will be a small percentage of the D3 community. Perhaps dangle some carrots to get more players into PVP, such as gear upgrades, or additional achievements may help make it popular.
I don't expect 1.1 before Sept or October, possibly November. We'll see additional patches and hotfixes all paving the way to make the game even better.

Rich idiots who would rather buy their gear than actually play to get it.

nerfedhotfixed. Ran the Dank Cellar dozens of times tonight and plenty of gold/gems/tomes dropped. Still best spot to farm gold.0
Complete and utter bullshit. It's been proven to be the exact opposite.

I'm running 165% GF on my DH. I am averaging about 250K/hr after selling off all blues collected. You'll get a lot of gems which sell well in trade channel.

The best and only protection is to use an authenticator. Either the one that Blizzard sells, which I have, or the free one you can download to your mobile phone. Have your Blizzard games request the keycode each time you login to your account or game. Sure, it's a pain in the ass, but so is logging in (if you can) only to find out you've been hacked. A little time and effort protecting yourself will save you days of headache and frustration.
