Hello, Sc2? It still gets a lot of content. I don't see any reason for them to forget about D3.

You know Diablo is the only one to have a generic franchise logo. The rest show specifics to each game.
Hmn, maybe they will reveal something or they will wait until blizzcon keeping the 'mystery'.

Other than Act 6 and closing D3's story.
I would say an endgame mode that's as challenging as Inferno now that looting works.
On balancing/build diversity. It's kinda fine the problem is that the current endgame is unceiled so there's always a build that's kinda better than other. What we need more is a ceiled endgame.

get CASC Viewer and D3TexConv, that's all you need to extract them yourself.

The most likely scenario is D3X2. Anything outside that are wild speculations.

LoN sets can take 3-7 days farming casualy if you got a build capable of doing GR 60-65 in less than 7 minutes. I do however like the idea that non-set items give you half the bonus, it helps testing out if an idea could work.

The new zones as nice as they are, I wouldn't expect them to be part of an expansion due to 2 reasons:
I won't say that a second expansion is definitely on the works but there's reasons to keep faith in it.
If it's not a second expansion what will be announced then it's not D4 more like a different small game on the diablo universe. It could also be D2 HD.

between Patch 2.4.0 -> Patch 2.4.2, 3 new "X2" files slipped in:
All of the Reaper of Souls files are marked with X1. X2 files imply a second expansion. Now we don't know if a second expansion is in the works, has been scrapped or Blizzard is fooling with dataminers (They seem to be very careful on letting things slip out).
Among other interesting things: They've made over 4k builds from patch 2.4 to patch 2.4.2. It's quite a lot of builds, big projects like the famous Dolphin emulator have had around 8k in 10 years lifetime. D3 has had over 10k builds since 2.2. They are definitely doing something to the engine.

I can verify this now that there's no DDoS attack.
All those files were back in patch 2.2, except pets collection. Sry folks, got overhyped.
The best I could do was find new legendary gems which I don't know if they will be used.

Heyy folks, I decided to give a shot at datamining D3's lastest patch on the ptr to see what I would find, due to a bunch of speculation.
Here's a link of a guy that previously did D3 Datamine Image Gallary
Now, here's some stuffs hidden in the game files that were probably scrapped:
The medallion:
Not sure what it does but seems to work like a place to add charms/traits.
The Merchant Ring, a place to offer and trade items:
Pet Collection UI, to keep track of the pets you own

Whatever, we are getting an expansion and D3 turning into OW's business model. So don't get overhyped on D4 or D2 HD.
