But i'de like to see that fiery staff replaced by the banner like in d2, imo d2 fallen shamans looked more awesome than d3 ones do. But i like the d3 imps better. -

I really hope we get to visit Ureh, the encounters and lore we could see in-game there have the potential to be something amazing.Posted in: News

Jan 9, 2009InterrogatorChaplain posted a message on Official Diablo 3 Site Media Update #4The ghostly shipyard artwork is amazing, (on my desktop now ;/) and it makes me hope we can go there in the game. I've always enjoyed an environment that can "harbor" suprises. But really, its a very good piece of artwork, puns aside lol.Posted in: News

Oct 11, 2008InterrogatorChaplain posted a message on Character Stat AssigningI love the new changes, lol. I hated the old D2 stat system because its customization was incredibly weak.Posted in: News
There really was no customization now that i think on it, everyone went shit tons of vitality, and those who didn't died in like two hits pvp or hell mode. Auto stats = you don't suck like you did in d2 if you didn't pump vitality. I once tried to stack a barb with strength, and one time with dexterity. Both times i did he would perform horribly in hell difficulty, he would die in one or two hits. PVP? lol, one shot every time. But when i stacked vit? i did pretty darn well.
In diablo 2, stat point customization consisted of getting JUST enough str/dex to use the gear you wanted,
(usually a paltry 70-80 + item bonuses)
But seriously, whats the point of using 100 str to gain +100-200 damage? when you do like 6k per hit anyways? No point, thats what.
and then pumping the FUCK out of vitality. EEEEVEEERYYYONNNNEE did that. i mean you COULD do differently, but you would suck Bigtime.
Plus, a 3k hp sorceress or necro was just retarded.
I think (myself included) many people loved diablo2, it was a good game.
But when you honestly think about how many issues with gameplay there were such as stats, items, runewords, etc.
And about how nobody actually wants to run through the outdoors areas and kill shit because its incredibly boring.
There really were lots of things wrong with this game, lmao. WHY DO WE LOVE IT SO MUCH?! :3 lol -

Oct 7, 2008InterrogatorChaplain posted a message on Will Diablo 3 Be Playable At BlizzCon 2008?rofl, i just went to the official site and saw that, and went to post about it, as i load up the site i see that mockery beat me to the punchline.Posted in: News
F***.
lol, i do hope it is playable though, a new gameplay video would be very nice. I also want to have diablo lore updates, i'm one of those people who really gets into a game with good story, and that effects a large quantity of overall playability for me.
A starcraft 2 zerg section would be lovely, i want to read the story behind some of those new badass zerg units that make infested terran marines... WHO USE GUNS! -
Oct 2, 2008InterrogatorChaplain posted a message on BlizzCon -- Submit your questionsThe mercenary system of diablo2 was nice, but the equipping of them was very limited, and you could not customize skills, here are a few questions about mercenaries.Posted in: News
1. Will you Be Able to name your mercenary?
2. Will your mercenary change looks depending on what you equip him with?
3. Will your mercenary have a limited skill customization, or occasionally yell things during combat? (more interactive)
4. Will your mercenary have an inventory to store things? (i never saw why they could not carry items in d2, haha)
5. Also, if there are 5 acts like before, (or more lol) will act 4 still jip us with only half content? XD i hated act 4's lack of stuff to do. -

we could call it the Bagger, or the Darrow.
(Stop suggesting Ranger or rogue before i cut you, even though its decently likely it'll be something like that, stop saying it, its been done xD)
To me? maybe like a dryad, nature damaging and defensive magic but heavily focused on bows.
The other option (probably not but eh) would be a "chosen one" which has a mortal, demonic, or angelic tree. each tree has its weaknesses and strengths with angelic having exceptional defenses, demonic having exceptional offense, and mortal having some passives and extra skills? sounds interesting anyways

Also, i use 1.10, is that fine? 1.11 only adds stuff i would not use anyways.
