posted a message on DiabloFans....Come spam with us, we like it!!
I just wonder why we get the spam when other Curse sites like MMO-Champion don't. Do they just have better anti-spam, or do the spammers just not go there? Surely if it's the former then we can get that here. Surely Curse cares enough to do something about this absolutely ridiculous spam.

There has to be something that can be done aside from just banning them all, otherwise the whole Internet would be covered in a think crusty layer of spam, and we all know that only 90% of the Internet is spam.

posted a message on 3% life steal passive
Life Steal is nerfed to 20% of its stated effectiveness in Inferno, as detailed here.

I don't think Life on Kill has reduced effectiveness. I can't find anywhere that says it is reduced, and the game guide just says it's Life Steal that gets reduced. It is possible the game guide isn't 100% correct though.

There's no proc rate on Life Steal like there is with Life on Hit (and Life on Kill, depending on how you define "proc rate"). If you do damage, you get health.

posted a message on Hoping Blizzard fixes these things
You're probably mistaking the Blizz Tracker as Blizzard posts on this site. The Blizz Tracker takes official Blizzard posts that are posted on the official Diablo III forums and lists them in the box on the front page so we can see them from here. It's an honest mistake that many people have made, but for future reference the only place Blizzard will post about Diablo is here.

While I really like that they doubled the drop rate, 0.00001% doubled is still only 0.00002%. While those are definitely not the actual drop rates, it gets my point across that it's still going to be a stupidly low drop rate. They should have increased it tenfold.

the less the 'double' means, its better than nothing ... Im ok with the change

just take some time to farm now ... lets say I hope to find 3 legendary a week instead of 2 (I know rng is rng) but, you know what I mean eh ... just keep farming and you will find =P
I find three Uniques an hour in Torchlight 2, and it's way more exciting than loot in DIII. They need to stop worrying about balance and the AH and start worrying about how fun it is to find Uniques everywhere, even if we don't use them.

    Quote from CherubDown

Yeah. They doubled it. From 0.0000003% chance to 0.0000006%. YESSS! ...
These were my thoughts exactly, as I posted in the news post. They should have increased it tenfold, and taken the bottom 10% off of all affix rolls. That'll make loot exciting.

Act I here I come. I hate Act III monsters so much. Moloks, Heralds of Pestilence, Succubi, and fat Khazra casters can go die.

These aren't even the same five posts that were there 15 minutes ago when I was browsing on my phone. Nor is it the first time all five posts were spam posts.

I realize they probably get deleted quickly enough, but is there a solution to this being worked on? Just in the time I've taken to upload that image and type this up there's been three more. It's pretty annoying not having any actual recent posts to view.

posted a message on How do you use Revenge?
    It depends on the situation.

If I need the health, then I use it immediately.

If I don't need the health, but won't need it in the near future, I use it for the damage.

If I don't need the health, but might need it in the near future (playing it safe with potentially-dangerous packs), I'll save it for when I need it. If I gauge that the pack isn't dangerous enough to warrant saving it, I'll just use it whenever for the damage.

posted a message on Problems with balancing offense and defense
Get way more Strength, more Crit%, more Crit Damage.

If you want to try a new build, try a 2H build or, since you have that nice sword, a DW Frenzy build or a WW build.

If you're adamant on staying a tank build, you're just gonna have to up the stats I already listed. I think you might be able to swap an armor passive (whichever gives less armor) for a more offensive passive without having too much more trouble. Try Ruthlessness or Berserker Rage.

posted a message on I love Seimsic Slam
I was actually going to try Seismic Slam: Strength from Earth in place of Rend: Blood Lust to see how it fares. Seismic Slam was my spender in my 2H build pre-1.0.4, and I wanted to see if it was as awesome as before. It'll be tough to beat Rend's 700% though, but the burst healing from Bloodthirst may be better than Rend's slow trickle.

posted a message on Need 2h build for inferno.
I'm using a Rend/Frenzy build that works well with a decent two-hander. Link is in my signature. I have the healing rune in there for Act III. I don't need it for Act I/II since I can kill things fast enough with the 903% damage rune to not need the healing.

Depending on your survivability, you might be able to swap out something defensive like Leap for something offensive like Battle Rage. I'd never get rid of Ignore Pain: Ignorance is Bliss, since it heals me to full when I use it.

My character profile is also linked below. My gear isn't awesome, so as long as your defensives are good you should be ok.

I like Frenzy because the increased attack speed gives you a lot of bonus mobility, and it works better with Life on Hit than Bash does. I use Maniac instead of Sidearm with 2H builds because the increased damage really works well with the already huge damage of a two-handed weapon. Sidearm is good for the fast attack speed of a one-handed weapon.

I use Superstition just because I really hate elemental damage more than physical damage. I can deal with physical damage, but there have been plenty of times where the extra few seconds of survivability have helped me bring down a pack that I was fighting in a bad spot. Of course if you have tons of resists and not a lot of armor, pick the armor passive that gives you the most armor.
