I don't think this is a game for you, dude. Point and click is the backbone of gameplay in Diablo.

    Wait, what?

    4 slots of 5 characters? 20 characters?

    No way.

I'm talking about the maximum amount of players allowed in each game.

posted a message on good ps3, ps2 and psp games?
i know final fantasy, mgs, and god of war are ;).
Well I opened up this thread for no reason... :P

    PS3 games... Here's what I own:

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is great. One of the most beautiful looking games you can play right now. The action is solid and the story is a lot of fun. It's only about 10 hours long, so I suggest you rent it if you have that option. The sound design is incredible as well.

Ratchet & Clank: Future Tools of Destruction is... Rent if you like that type of game. It's a good one.

Grand Theft Auto IV is a buy. Pretty damn long, good story, great voice acting and if you get bored you can always go around killing random people in interesting ways.

    Fallout 3 - Buy it. ;)

Mirror's Edge - Uh... You'll probably hate it like everyone else. I love the game, but I can't recommend it.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - Buggy as fuck. The A.I. is the most frustrating part of the game. Also It feels like 1/3 of the content was cut. I love the game for what it could have been, but it was released too early and it shows. If you're a hardcore Star Wars fan then buy it otherwise avoid it.

Metal Gear Solid 4 - Buy it.

Midnight Club Los Angeles - Solid gameplay. Good soundtrack. Open world. It's a great racing game if you like that old arcade style racing. If you want something more realistic then wait for Gran Turismo 5.

    Resistance 1 - Kind of a borefest.

Sacred 2 - Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

Assassin's Creed - Meh. Another borefest.

Bioshock - A good rental or buy.

InFamous - Just picked it up. Can't say much about it right now.

There are a lot of games I haven't picked up yet, but I have played a lot and I think I can recommend:

Killzone 2 - If you like first person shooters then this is about as good as it gets on a console.

Resident Evil 5 - If you've got a friend to play co-op with then pick it up. Get Resident Evil 4 for the PS2 if you're playing alone.

The Orange Box - Pick it up for your computer if you can. If you can't run it then get it for the 360. If you don't have a 360 then get it for the PS3.

    Some PS2 games... Silent Hill 2 & 3, Resident Evil 4, God of War 1 & 2, Final Fantasy X, Metal Gear Solid 2 & 3.

    Quote from "Iscariot" »
yeah, but it's always much easier to push hardware to the max, cause you can use the short cuts and massively optimize games for the specific hardware, it's true that desktop computers can destroy PS3s.

It's just that the PS3 has an OS that is developed to playing games, while most of us have a multipurpose OS like windows/OS X or what ever. Stack that up with hardware that they know inside out and you can make games that are beautiful and that'll get nice frame rates too.

You're absolutely right. I'm just saying that Crysis isn't the massive leap in graphics it used to be, however, it still is the best looking game on the market.

we all know crysis is far beyond anything in GOW3
I wouldn't say it's far beyond it. God of War 3 is very impressive looking. As good as Crysis? Probably not. But it is damn close. And considering the hardware it's running on and what they've achieved visually including a near constant 60 frames per second... well it's one hell of an achievement. Go check the live demo if you don't believe me. It is something you need to see in motion to truly appreciate.

I want it to be huge, at least as big as Act 2, with a lot of changes. Cavernous, raining blood, lava, tortured souls, etc. Just fucking chaotic and uninviting.

I hope they get it right this time because, in my opinion, they didn't get it right in 1 or 2.

Think of stark white against marble pillars, slight variation in the skies hues, ornate golden embroidery, gleaming parapets, streamlined towers and walls, et cetera.

That's how I visualize it as well. The floors should almost glow.

posted a message on Diablo III Bestiary Update- Return of the Fallen!
Though I liked the old music for Caldeum better.
I immediately thought of Caldeum when I heard the music. The music that used to be on the Caldeum page will definitely be a part of the act. I think they replaced it because this is the city's music and the other song is part another area in the act.

posted a message on Will the "Tristram" theme music from Diablo 1 return?
Why do you think so? I mean, I'm a musician, and I didn't heard any similarities with the Kurast themes!
I noticed it during a playthrough a couple of months ago. I'll listen to the soundtrack to see if I can spot it again. It might not be in Act 3.

I'm a musician as well, although, I'm not a very good one. :P

especially if it played when you were walking around Old Tristram.
That's how it was in DII, so you can bet your ass you'll hear it if old Tristram is in the game. And I don't see why it wouldn't be.

however, i still don't like the music that's in the gameplay video/performed at WWI
    with the same complaints.

I believe It was built around the song in Kurast.
